  1. its four screws for the cover, then about 6 -8 for the sender and it will come straight out.. check that the spring and floater arm are in good condition, i had the same problem with mine bcoz my floater arm thingy was bent from a previous owner swapping fuel pumps dodgey like...
  2. Just a quick question, i know others are keen to find out about this also.. Ive got an R32 Drift Car, its not heavily modded or anything but it has a few aftermarket parts etc.. its covered in sponsorship graphics and has the interior 3/4 the way stripped It IS still licenced for the road but i was wondering if id be able to get a permit to drive it to get work done on it, to avoid trouble with the police, yellow sticker etc etc.. Could i tell the licencing center its un registered to obtain a permit? or would they be able to give me one even tho the car remains licenced? Anyone know anything about this let me know, bcoz i need work done on friday and im unable to tow the car, and its not a heck of a drive either.. i really wanna keep my car rego'd!! thanx
  3. I know its not necessary to go external on this turbo and what not, i am going for pure wank factor with it... as it is a drift car and all about standing out lol I was thinking turbosmart ultragate 38mm? Anyone else running something different, maybe using an Rb25 turbo?

  5. How much does Ben want for a full Rb25 conversion with the Rb25 box fitted?
  6. Who supplies them, and where can i get one for an R32? I've used the search engine and the only stuff i could find is an SAU trader selling them from the gold coast, i was hoping to find someone in perth selling them so i could bypass the postage costs and maybe take my seat to them to find the correct rail for myself etc Im personally looking for one to suit a Gias Reclinable, not sure if anyone else in perth is chasing rails? The dude selling them interstate had alot of interest for bride rails to suit various models, so im wondering if people in perth are too?
  7. oh sweet im from rockingham also, he'd be on or just off dixon road im guessing? anyone out there had this sorta job done, what price were ppl throwin at ya? ive gotta mate who said he'd do it for a certain price, id just like to know whether im being looked after or not feel me? :-)
  8. I'm not an idiot, i wouldnt have a second rate job done on filling my spoiler holes in.. i was simply drawing attention to the fact that they need to be filled in before we paint, obviously a spray painter would tell me the exact same thing thanks anyway, still looking for someone to help me and this other bloke above this thread out also cash to be made right here, alcohol to be drank also :-)
  9. Spray my bonnet + boot matte black for cash just the boot needs bog for the standard spoiler holes Just seeing if anyone is keen, if not, fair enough :-)
  10. your right, there are no footpaths leading into or out of the graham farmer tunnel, only the emergency stopping lane on either side..
  11. Ive got my standard exhaust end (which bolts off from the diff - back) and ive cut the muffler off, so im just left with a 3 and quarter inch pipe, stainless (i think) and i wanna get two 2 and a half inch pipes welded on the end of that coming out the back of my car roughly about 70cm's long from where the pipe ends ive seen a few backyard jobs and they look sick, i just dont have any pipe or a mig welder if anyones good with this and wants to make some easy money im interested
  12. thats taking it a bit far i think, that video is a joke if you ask me ive got plenty of room left on my studs and im only using a 5mm spacer, once i lowered the car back down it didnt rub as the rear camber over compensated for the space between the rim and the hicas, so they fit fine without rubbing but that is the apsolute maximum size wheel id go with
  13. hmmmm looks like im pulling the grinder out... might grind a little bit back, not too much of course, cant have the whole rack falling apart, see if i can get a few mm's there and maybe add a slightly bigger spacer, again not too big tho fingers crossed
  14. pipe dream? my mate was running 11's on the rear of his R32 gtst four door with slightly rolled guards without a problem obviously with different offset than i have
  15. this is what they look like at the moment, with a 5mm spacer in place, still with a bit of room above the tire itself this is where it is rubbing, on the little pod on the end of the hicas power steering rack even with the 5mm spacer, it still rubs can i remove this whole rack entirely?
  16. they are +45 and my coilovers make them sit a little lower than the guard anyways. but i am going to roll them at the moment, i have a 5mm spacer in there and they still rub on my hicas power steering rack.. i have the lockbar in place.. so your saying i can take that whole rack out and it will still be okay? even tho the hicas bit is connected to a control arm or something next to the coilover?
  17. what if i were to get 10mm spacers and rear camber arms? would the problem be solved?
  18. I've just gotta set of avs model 6 17x10's to go on the rear of my 32.. turns out i put them on and the inside lip of the rim rubs on my rear hicas powersteering rack (right on the end) anyone know what i can do to overcome this? spacers, lower control arm change? everything is stock suspention wise, except a set of JIC coilovers.. anyone know anything about fitting big fat rims, let me know thanks
  19. so like run it with the plug in the cylinder but have the coil pack out to see if there is a spark? is that dangerous? lol
  20. ill try the test light theory.. ive just installed a new fpr and its running at around 70-75psi it was still doing the same thing on the standard fpr, so i dnt think its that a mechanic friend of mine said its most likely the injector that is not working or is blocked, but ive ran two diff types of injector cleaner through it and still no result
  21. replaced the whole loom with another one in better condition, still nothing help!
