  1. BBBAAAMMM SNAPPED one up a few weeks ago Boys.

Black 2009 26,00Ks for $110,000. The guys I bought it off was a TOP block, no stuffing around awesome guy will be keeping in touch with him.

The car has exceeded all my expectations.

congrats man. im still about 10k short of my deposit i am aiming for....cant wait!!

although im starting to compare the 2010 model with the 2009 now....alot of nice little features over the 09

  2. I understand the part about being tracked and gearbox temps etc and I wouidnt like to own a track pig either, but honestly if the car presents well and drives well then what is the issue.

I dont know mch avout the gearbox isses but if heard horror stories about gearboxes being destroyed from using the harsh launch controls.

The issue is the $25k repair bill if something does go wrong. Im not really clued in on this so if you anyone care to bring me up to speed about the issues with 09 launch control, that be great.

  3. Then the other doosh bag that had it priced at 115K said I can have the car for 110K, a little over budget but for the mods it had I went for it called him back and he denied even saying I could have the car for 110K - IT gets BETTER then has the balls to raise the price to 119,995K after I spoke to him.

I spoke to the guy who was selling the R35 for $115k as well, when i asked him to arrange documents confirming that the car not tracked, or launched he said he wasnt interested in selling to people like me.

    WTF?!

Im sticking around for a black one as well.

  4. Went to the RB30 in my car so the toqrue (which is what you need to consider, not hp/kw when deciding on a clutch) was alot bigger then what you would have in the RB25/26. So i needed a to upgrade to a Twin Plate to meet my demands. The Single plates aint really known to cause alot of noise or shadder, Its more of a Twin Plate Triple Plate characteristic. Like any Clutch if you abusing it and riding it alot it will wear yes. Its expected.

I honestly think its a great intro clutch when upping power with the skylines. Thats my 2c.

  5. Sorry guys i completely forgot about this thread.

Sold the car a few weeks ago to a different buyer. Wanted to handle things himself so i just sold it to him as is. No mod plates no RWC no nothing! I guess he knew what he was doing. Sorry if i couldnt be more help guys.

  6. LOL

Well this is embarrising. Went to start the car to go to work this morning and the car is barely running. I guess thats what you meant Trent. I didnt realise the car had to be turned off and on for the ECU to be re-initialised. Engine check light is on even while idling so i switched it straight off. Looks like i might have to get it towed to you Trent.

Unless someone has a FC Hacko or similar i can borrow?

  7. Thats good to know thanks Trent. I got work this sat and sun until 5pm so depending on how busy you are i might have to wait till next week.

I managed to figure out how to adjust the idle voltage by turning the whole unit but is there a way of adjusting WOT voltage without affecting idle voltage? Its almost as if i cant change the range, i can only adjust the minimum and maximum, which in turn adjusts the maximum and minimum.

  8. Ok i manage to figure it out although it didnt really help. I got a bit desperate and ended up re-initialising the pfc and it seems to be under control to a certain degree. Hunts still around 860-920rpm. Sounds lumpy so its not all bad.

Tps on idle is around 0.39-0.40v on idle but how are u suppose to increase the WOT voltage?

from paulr33s PFC guide im suppose to let it idle for up to 30min to let it relearn while turning AC on and off.

Bit devo'ed about losing my tune though =[

  9. I'm reading that you have to manually adjust the TPS(turning it) to adjust the voltage, which you read on the PFC commander. I was also reading, specific to Nistune(but I'm sure PFC is the same), that when you look at the sensor page on the hand controller, the TPS circle should be solid until the lightest of lightest throttle touches which will bring it out of idle. If it need more than the lightest of lightest of touches then you adjust the TPS to the right voltage until you have it switch off idle as soon as you touch the throttle.

I cant seem to find a screw or "sliding adjustment" on the tps. When you say i should be "turning" it, do you mean the whole unit?

Andrew fitting up some 02 sensors to your car will help ten fold too especially your cruise trims.

Once you set your tps drop past one sat and i will check the idle lambda for you, your 26 had a vac leak through the old idle control valve (going on your above statements) so your idle mixtures will be way off now its fixed.

not gonna cost you a cent.

Yeh ive been meaning to get onto the 02 sensor for a while but unlike the idle which shits me everyday i drive it, it hasnt been on the top of my list to fix. But dont worry it will be done! Ill make sure to drop by sometime when i get all this sorted, Thanks!
