  1. Tyres looked almost new in the garage shot :P

Good work mate, bringing it down to Calder too perhaps?

ha ha. Had them since end of 2007 and they sat in the shed till mid last year when they did 4 track days on the drift car before sitting around for another 8 months. They are all hard and crap. R888s are a second or two slower than Hankooks or A050s anyway!

the 255s rub slightly on the front already and Hankook don't do a 255, they do a 235 or a 265.

And yes, brining it to Calder to smash the dome.....so who's entering to take on the 200 in RWD class??

  2. nice one mate. 1:06 for a first test day is pretty rapid. should be very quick once dialled in. looks bloody quick for 270kw too. they must be real kw not the inflated kw everyone talks about...

hope it goes well for you at WTAC. :)

Thanks man. Yeah, its a very torquey 270/275. I was suprised how quick it was on that power.

Turned it up a bit last week on pump gas to 315kW. Makes it very easy and driving it you would swear it has more like 360!!!

  3. Show queen to track hack.

What was the inspiration for the change Andrew?

What?!! It was always a STREET car that looked good. It got thrashed hard!!

Too hard having a car like that on the road. A blown oil pump meant I pulled the engine out, then I decided to '"tidy" some things up and re-do things I wasn't happy with. One thing lead to another and BAM, a bare shell S14.

A track itch has been there for a while. Starting a new business and running it meant the build was a bit slow is all.

That and Time Attack is sick

  4. Want to run on E85, yes, and make 350rwkW on this turbo and push for more later in year.

Aero wise, fitted rear difusser and vortes generators ( varis or voltex, not sure, off an evo ) and will be making front splitter and some sideskirt changes before the event. Also made changes to suspension. Car is a 98 model. Bought it as stock road car 8 years a go!

  5. Everyone is on same boat so level playing field

I don't know if practice the day before the event allows quite the same opportunity to change your setup to suit a track no-one else gets to run on as practicing a couple of months before everyone else. It feels a bit like allowing a competitor to course check a blind rally to me.

  6. Calder is the only custom built course we are using. The other two rounds this year are on "conventional" tracks. We wanted to try and differentiate our event and do something special for the first event. For next years 5 round series we might use the big track so time attack cars dont have to change their set-up.

The guys testing the course can compete, yes, but tje final layout will be slightly different with proper corners built instead of cones.

Ones thing for sure, its wild fun. Im going to set JET200 up for it for sure!!!!

  7. Hey guys

The GT-R I bought came with Volk ( Rays) CE28N light weight forged one-piece wheels. As you all should know these are super light and super high quality.

I havant pulled them off so don't know exact size, but at a guess, are 17x9 or 17x9.5 in a +15-+25 offset. You can see they fit quite well on an R32 GT-R. Tyres have around 60% trade, so plenty of life left in them. They are 255 all round. They have the usual marks on them but no major damage

Why am I selling then? I have a thing for R34 GT-R wheels and Ive always wanted an R32 GT-R with them on them.

Located in Silverwater NSW. Prefer pick up
