  1. Vq25det is already turbo. So compression is right, turbo manifolds etc

Can get a vq25det front cut for $1000

    sell rb25det

vq35 is non turbo......add turbo or supercharger kit plus to buy engine equals $10K plus...

    $ verse cents really

tring to keep to a cheap budget build

Yeah fair enough, remember though that an m35 front cut, at least in australia, wont have a manual gearbox. I'm guessing that a 350z gearbox would be the best one to use, no idea what sort of price they go for though

  2. Quick question for all the manual converted guys..

What speed sensor are you using, I've read the standard auto one works fine in GTR boxes ... although it's shorter in length?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Cheers!

I'm using the standard auto one in a 32 GTR box, no idea about the length though as it wasn't me who put it in.

Car is coming along great too, you have done more in a few weeks than I have in years lol

  3. yeah the wind/rain deflectors....how do I take them off (it's kinda silly have one and one busted one)

When I took mine off they were held on by some really strong double sided tape and a few metal clips. It was easy enough to get the weather strips themselves off, but the double sided tape is a pain.

  4. That's cool man, gotta start somewhere!

Stay safe; ride like everyone is out to kill you, mostly because they are. If you're ever down the mountains on the beast; hit me up, I don't need an excuse to ride. :whistling:

Yeah will do mate. Will be a while before i take it too far out of town though, I've seen too many people nearly running up the back of L plate drivers / riders on the GWH

Congrats mate! Bet that's a bit chilly round Bathurst in winter.

Have they gone to injection on them yet? I rode one in Thailand that was injected, was a good thing.

Cheers man, yeah its not the warmest time for it lol. Mine is carbie, from what i have read USA and Australia still only get carb models, and in europe they can get injected ones. No idea why they haven't brought out the injected models over here, because its one of the most popular learner bikes you can get

  5. Noice! With a pipe they actually don't sound too bad.

    Your first bike?

Yeah, its got a nice big yellow L plate on the back haha. Will probably do some mods on it over time, because I will have nearly 2 years until im on an unrestricted license. Gotta let the bank account recover first though
