Not 100% sure what you mean by this, but having purchased a CD key from a US retail version of TOR doesn't mean you'll be able to see ocianic/aus servers when they're up.
Example - WoW EU, while being the exact same game, is not compatible with US/oceanic servers and visa versa.
I can roll a character on the EU servers with the version that i bought from US amazon, so i cant see why i wouldnt be able to play on oceanic servers when the game eventually retails over here. Although tbh, I doubt I will even bother playing oceanic, im not really having any problems with lag or anything on the US servers, even in pvp.

my copy showed up the other day, already put in some hours...
really disappointed with the PVP. Im level 15 and I get matched with level 50s.... bit of a joke and they should fix that real quick imo.
Apparently its on their list of things to fix, cant believe they didnt do something about it before release though. It's stupid being in a standard pick up group and coming up against a premade full of level 50's, there is pretty much no chance of winning.

What server? I'm on Tarro Blood.
I'm on Swiftsure. I'm really hoping they either increase the server caps or a lot of people reroll on different servers, the queue during prime time over the weekend got to be over 4 hours long, with over 1700 people in the queue.

Budget on 1200-1500 fir parts, gearbox, clutch, flywheel, pedal box, console, etc. Plus 500-1000 to fit it all up
Your car is series 2 so I don't know how the ecu would react??
I'd say a bit more than that for parts, gearbox can be anywhere from $400-$800 depending on if its R32 or R33GTR (assuming you have an awd stagea). A good clutch is going to be at least $500, most likely more. Then you get to your interior parts, factory manual stagea bits are pretty rare and as such as are expensive, it's hard to put a price on it because over the years I have seen manual consoles go for a variety of different prices, but the cheapest I have personally seen for just the manual centre console parts, with no other interior bits, is ~$600. And there are so many little costs that you dont think of initially, things like flywheel bolts, gearbox oil, etc, it all adds up
All in all, I would budget a minimum of $3000 including labour, but would expect it to cost more than that. Thats going off my personal experience, after spending almost a year collecting parts and finally getting the conversion done a few months ago

been playing it for hours today, and there is plenty of other australians playing too, there is no one blocked

Yeah, it sucks. I have chosen the quickest method of shipping though. Says it will be delivered 23rd Dec - 29th Dec.
I am also so bummed that i didn't get a collectors edition
Amazon often emails out the game cd key on the launch day for this sort of preorder, so you can subscribe before the physical box arrives. Really hoping they do it with TOR, gonna suck playing the early access and then not being able to play until January

Whats your location, and do you know what sort of cost it would be to ship these interstate if required?

I haven't lost any, but both of mine have been marked and scratched up from people not knowing how to drive in shopping centre carparks.

had to do the same thing with my 34. getting the metal backing off was a bitch, and yeh had to drill out the bush...
Also had to do both of those with my stagea, I got the metal plate off by just cutting through the two welds holding it onto the accelerator using a dremel, made it pretty easy.

I will keep the group buy opened until the 22nd of November. As with the other group buys, I will need payment within one week of the group buy closing and then will transfer the money to the US. It will take about 4 weeks after payment has been made to get the pedals due to supplies from Nissan Japan. So they will make a perfect Christmas present. I will then send them with express post to every one.
It's still going to be just in time for christmas

I'd love to make it to more events, but travel time is an issue in my situation. Another problem for me is that the car is my daily, which kinda rules out trackdays for the time being, as much as I would like to do one. Breaking the daily while its a couple hundred km's away from home would suck, to say the least.

Was an awesome first car, had it for almost 3 years i think before trading it in for the stagea. It went through all the standard p plater phases - the massive power increase of an exhaust + pod filter, half a bodykit, big wheels, stereo, etc

I think he's put in the Transgo shift kit...
Will that have any effect apart from speeding up the shifts? I was thinking more in terms of protecting the gearbox from any problems caused by the increased power levels, if that is even going to be an issue.

Are you planning on doing any work on the auto box to strengthen it up a bit before putting the turbo on, or just gonna see what happens?
Nice car too, it was looking really good on the 15th Anniversary cruise.
-
LOL, did anyone notice that when we stopped at the Stone House Cafe near the end of the cruise, quite a few cars stopped and took photos of our assembled fleet?
Yeah I did see one or two cars arrive, take a few photo's, then leave straight away lol

I'd happily shell out a few bucks for one.
Same, after fitting the rear strut brace my sub doesnt fit where i used to have it, and doesnt really work anywhere else without taking up heaps of room. This looks like a perfect solution

Yeah rebinding the keys is pretty important when you have a wide variety of skills to use, like you do in the later levels.
This is mine, there is still a little bit of mouse clicking for some things, but not too much because i have all my important skills in 1-6 and ctrl+1 - ctrl+6
