  1. yes every single thing was done at home the only thing i had to pay for was aluminum welding rods
  2. one you drive yout car every day and you do an upgrade you will fill the difference be it good or bad
  3. did not reflash the ecu just installed the manifold and that was it, did not change anything else

Just completed fitting the rb26 inlet manifold to our rb20det The process was simple Took just over 1 weekend to complete *Cut rb20det runners *Cut flanges off of rb26 manifold *Aluminum weld them *Weld aluminum flange to mount throttle body to the front of the plenum *Cut and re-position water inlet *Use porting tool to grind all uneven levels in welded runners (allot of porting is needed) *Install throttle body *Install stock rb26 aac valve setup *Install manifold *install fuel system *Run new vacuum lines *Rerun new intercooler piping *Relocate bov ....thats about it People said that i would of lost power but all we got was good results *The boost is building quicker *The acceleration is way better now *The throttle response is really great *Less intercooler piping (about 4 feet or so less) and no need to weld a flange to mount the aac valve, we used the stock rb26aac valave setup * i really cant complaim about anything its a really great upgrade* more pics will be posted soon
  7. hey guys im thinking of upgrading the front s13 brakes but i cant find any r32 rotors or calipers i have access to R33 GTR FRONT brembo caliper and rotors tho, can they work? (i also want to keep my 4 stud hub so ill just have to drop the rotors off to the machine shop) once i know that i can use the r33 brakes on the s13

  11. The oil is running from the breather line that runs from the valve cover to the turbo inlet pipe and going into the turbo and reaching up to the tb
  12. what about the oil running through my intercooler piping all the way into my TB?
  13. we dont have a catch can and we turned the boost down to 10psi and ran the car the dip stick stayed in

  15. hey guys i have a problem just and need some help, i have an RB20det in my car its running on 12psi and has some minor mods on it i realized when i run the car hard the dipstick pups out of the housing and oil spills on the engine bay and block also there is oil in my intercooler piping what can this problem be ?

  18. im going with a single TB setup a 26 will be good but we dont get them in the part yards here in the island of Tobago this sigma is just one of our project cars this one we are keeping it Rb20for now, we have other projects like a bmw 361i with a 1jz-gte twin turbo transplant, ford cortina with an with a 280zx l28 transplant soon to be RB25 powered
  19. hey guys in in the process of installing an rb26 inlet manifold on my rb20det we will me needing the space to install our top mount turbo manifold and new turbo Ive heard that you lose hp is this true? if so what kind of power loss do you get? Right now we are building the car as an every day car that we can take to the drag strip on weekends Our project is a Mitsubishi sigma we used this as it has a very light weight body (its about 996kg) way lighter than i GTS skyline or a cefiro the motor bolted up very nice in its engine bay, we also swapped the stock 3.5:1 rear end for a 4.3:1 rear the 3.5 was a bit sluggy the motor setup we are running rite now is *stock rb20 motor *300zx 45v3 t3 turbo *turboXS boost controller *13 psi boost *blitz bov *blitz LM 3" intercooler *2.5 intercooler piping *3" free flow stainless exaust *apexi n1 tail pipe *rebuilt gear box *upgraded ecu flashed\remaped by raymond of ems tuning( also no speed/boost or fuel cuts ) *fidanza 4.3 Performance 6puc ceramic Clutch *NGK iridium spark plugs *3 core *All oil seals and belts changed *walbro external fuel pump other upgrades coming soon *adjustable cam gears *Cometic head gasket *ARP bolts *high flow turbo manifold *Garret gt30r or Turbonetics GTK ball bearing *Tiial wastgate *Greddy or Haltech engine management system tuned to about 20psi *550cc nismo injectors *sard fuel press reg *water/meth injection kit then we may prob change the cams
  20. i was getting this problem when i intald the vg30 turbo on my rb20, i had to change the actuator to an rb20 actuator
  21. im also in the process of welding an rb26 manifold to some rb20 runners that is how far i got with mine so far
