  1. bump heres a picture i drew of the setup im implying. the front will be chan 1 and 3 and rear 2 and 4 as my amp is 4 channel but 1-2 and 3-4 have 2 rcas each so total 4rca's
  2. I just took a look at his profile and went through his posts, you are not joking, every post he makes you're under it ahahah, thats some effort. makes a very boring day interesting
  3. So i know this has probably been asked over a million times, and ive read a lot about the topic by searching forums. so this post is just to confirm what im thinking and to make sure its correct. My Headunit is a Pioneer avh-p dvd player it was quite expensive back in the day but now the touch screen is dead and its more expensive to repair it than buy a new one.. and i just bought an alpine 4chan 400 watt amp and looking to use it asap. so i was researching and apprently you can run an ipod directly to the amp via an Rca to 3.5 jack cable. TLDR? Ipod to 4chan Amp no headunit. So far i have all speakers wired up. front left to chan 1 front right to chan 2 rear left to chan 3 rear right to chan 4 i have RCA Y Splitters connected from 1 to 3 and from 2 to 4. then i have my Jack to rca connected to the Splitters, does this sound correct? or is there something im missing?
  4. So somehow i've lost a bracket for the rear sway bar for my Skyline R33Gtst 1998 model, Just wondering if anyone would have one laying around from an old sway bar or wreck hit me up if you have one my email is [email protected] or reply here would be appreciated.
  5. Yeah i just realised this, I mixed up the numbers when typing does anyone else do this lol they were 225/50/r18 my bad sorry guys any way i took a look and they were a cheap chinese tyre thats why they blew out. i just ended up getting some 225/40/18's they are a cheaper brand also but my last experiance with them was good. because there so cheap the rubber lasts for ever! BUT they are crap in the wet which is fine for me. Achilles is the brand i got. just for everyday driving. hopfully with a new wheel alignment i wont be getting one sided wear
  6. I've done a bit of looking around in the Wheel sizes & Offsets thread and a few people with the R33Gtst and 18x8 rims have 235/40/r18 their offsets are around 30-38 so i might take a look at a few of these, hopfully they work out haha
  7. So i've had my car for awhile now and when i purchased it i bought these 18x8 ROH Mantis Rims. The tyres lasted about 1-2 Years and when i got new tyres put on about 6 months later the rear drivers Blew out from the inside,. at first i thought it just required a wheel alignment, later on about another 6 months the passanger side front blew out same pattern the wire was showing from the inside under the tread, i thought the same. another wheel alignement... I called up to get some quotes and the guy said there is no way those tyres are on your car... i was like well im looking at it and they are he stated who ever put the tyres on my car have put the wrong size on. the size on my 18"rims are 255/50R18 I have no clue what were on before when they lasted for around 2 years no problem. He stated they have probably blown out from hitting the suspension on the inside. Im just wondering if anyone knows what tyres should be on them because well im just after some cheapies and i wanna get them online instead of having to pay $250 each at a tyre store. Sorry its a Nissan Skyline R33 S2 1998
  8. Ok so i did a bit more searching and found out its Not a series 1 grill. its a Series 2 Nismo Extra same as the other cosmetics are all the nismo extras http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/101199-r33-s2-front-grill/
  9. well that sucks lol ah well i like the grill a lot better than what i've seen any way but if yours is a series 2 whats with the skyline S on the bonnet also? isnt that a series 1 thing also? i even have the original japanese log books and i don't know crap about my car
  10. I'll take photos when im home close up. it states Nissan and ill show you the detail of the badge thats why im so confused with this.
  11. yeah it has got the black cas, so its just a standard 1998 R33S2? produced in March 1998 and the grill does not look like a job done by anyone it looks stock (its black and red S very detailed) just like the Cannon Nissan Exhaust that came stock
  12. ALso it has the Nissan Floor mats with the Metal badges all 5 of them
  13. I have had my car for a few years now, Have been busy spending money on other things like girls and my place... Now I have some spare cash i have Been interested in doing a few things to my car, My plates state it was Built in March 1998 which when i look online like Wiki states its the Anniversary edition but its a GTS-T also its front grill is so different i have not seen one like it before, i have no clear pics of it but here is one (It has a Red Skyline S in the middle) I would love to find out more information on this car as no one seems to know, I read somewhere that there are such things are R33 Series 3 but are they only the GTR models? also someone mentioned it could be M-Spec as its exhaust is also a Nissan Cannon which came from stock here is another pic i have sorry I dont't have many right now as im at work but i will post more when i get home Thanks ahead of time if anyone knows anything I would love to know how many of these were made if thats even possible to know.

  16. Greetings, i have searched the forum but most of the topics with gear boots in it are so old the pictures have been deleted, my Skyline R33s2 1998's gear and ebrake boots are worse for wear, im looking to replace them with leather, (not carbon) just leather and i am wondering if anyone know's a good retailer or knows where i can get some, i even thought about taking mine off and getting the missus to sew one lol
  17. yeah so i would just leave the shockie the coild overs come with in the spring and just unbolt and do back up. sounds easy. i will look into those BCBR's Thanks for your help mate. (gonna stick to 100mm off ground with 18's - think 100mm is still the limmit
  18. yeah i work on my car quite a bit but never touch the suspension side of things, so you an adjust the height of your vehicle from the ground yourself? that way i can install them and just get the alignment done, and about the softness? or as stated above -1 camber? can this be done yourself? im guessing with the -1 camber you can not Thanks again. did not want to start a new thread
  19. I have a 1998 R33s2 M spec ani edition, No mods done to suspension yet just have some Mantas gun metal grey ROH Rims (18's) with toyo's ( i think 225/40/r18) - could be very wrong with that size i deal with tyre sizes all day.. any way i have put off lowering my vehicle untill i get some coil overs and i have kept spending money on other things so i have not really done the research on the matter, wondering if any one could recommend some decent coilies for just street driving no track im from QLD gold coast. - if you have a recommended installer that would help heaps also... sorry for posting before i have done any research - pic related
  20. Hey guys, I have had my R33 s2 1998 for around 3-4 years now, And I purchased it stock, one of the first things i did was put on new wheels, I bought some RoH Mantis Gun metal grey like these http://www.bgworldwheels.co.nz/images2/mantis2.jpg 18 inches and i have some Toyo Tyres on them i think they are 255/40/R18 and all has been fine, i have been through some tyres before i think i have only actualy bought around 2 sets of tyres in that ammount of time but i do not drive a lot. So long story short. My rear drivers side tyre looks like it had been rubbing on a shockie but there is no evidence of this accept for the inside of the tyre has blown out. and this has not happend before. and my vehicle is standard height, I think the tyres that came with it were 255/40/R16 and the Good Year guys said they are fine for the vehicle, has any one had trouble like this?
