Hey Dude, looking for the following. Can I get prices? Top Radiator mounting bar - with the latch that holds the bonnet arm down(Little black plastic bit) Maybe also Bonnet Latch without wire. Bonnet Plastic bits off doors that sit on inside behind Mirrors. For tweeter mounting. A/C Condenser with Thermo Fan. Is the Reo Bar busted? If not I'll take that too. Bit of an Update for you. Did some research and some measuring. From what I can tell, you'll only fit one sub on each side. And from all the spec sheets I've rear, we'll only be able to fit 6.5" subs. I've found two that will fit. JL Audio 6w3v3 - 6.5" - 4, and 8 ohm - 150w RMS Mounting depth is 108mm, Overall diameter is 174mm Mounting hole diameter is 140mm Kicker CVT65 - 6.5" - 2,4, and 8 ohm - 150w RMS - Mounting Depth is 71mm, Overall Diameter is 175mm Mounting hole diameter is 140mm also

Dude, you should be fine with Full HD content on that system. My current media pc is an old Athlon 64 3500+ with 2gb DDR400 ram. With an old 7900gtx graphics card. I can play full hd content no worries(1080p if only program running, and 720p with a few programs running). Bare in mind my system has been slimmed down considerably, but with the advantages of a faster and more effecient setup like yours, you shouldn't have any problems at all. Best of luck

Hey Ben, I'm very interested in your side mounted subs idea. Seems like an easier and cleaner setup than the boot. Over the next month I'll be re wiring my car and installing some front and rear speakers and an amp. While im at it Ill take a look at the amount of the area your talking about and see if I cant think up some ideas for the sidemounts. Are you thinking of doing this yourself or a professional job? Oh and are talking about having Twin as in 1 on either side, or twin and as 2 on either side? Either way, sounds like a crankin idea. Let me know how you go.

JL Audio ZR650CSI - Killer ebay deal Alpine PDX-4.150 - Another killer ebay deal With the rears, I was thinking about chucking in some bostons, maybe just regular Boston Pro60's and keep them as coaxials or some Focals. Either that, or I'm thinking of hunting down some JL Audio C5-650X's. I know the rears wont be heard that much, but I just want a top notch system all round. Is it bad to cross breed products? I'm now also looking into wiring...Not too sure what to use. I know the amp can use up to 8 gauge. But I thought I'd see what everyone else thinks. So just to Reiterate, I'm now looking at Rear 6-6.5" Coaxials and some good quality wire. Looking to keep the speakers below 600. Thanks for all the advice guys.

Thanks for the input guys. I l've listened to some speakers through the week and I've recently come across a super deal. Should have my fronts sorted sometime tomorrow if all goes well. Now its time to decide on my rears. @Mike Went to see the Jaycar ones on Thursday night. Sounded ok, but I'm after something to really blow me away with quality. This "super deal" i've found should do just that at a very marginal price. Thanks for the recommendation though. CHeers

Hey guys. So I've revised my current car upgrades and have devoted more money to the audio. ATM im thinking of going for a full blown Focal System, bar the head Unit ofcourse. 165KR 6.5 Splits for the front, 165KRC 6.5" Coaxial for the rear, and a SOLID 4 Channel Amp. Later on I'll get one of there subs and a monoblock amp to suite. Also, as per my previous statement about music taste, I'd say I listen to 50% Rock, 20% RnB and Trance and 10% Classical. So I guess you could say I'll mostly be listening to rock. Would the chosen focals above be a good choice?

A lot of people, myself included would love to have this kind of functionality in our cars. I've dreamed of having an awesome display unit like the GTR's for so long now. Being able to add in as many sensor as you wont would be a modders/tuners dream come true. As far as I'm aware, however, its near impossible to get it to come through your Alpine Head Unit. Theres only one realistic option that may work, it would involve making a Car pc that has a video out that can connect to your head unit. Thats if yours has a video input connection. This kind of mod has been done before, however there is no off the shelf kit with software to get the computer to display the information in a pleasing manner. Actually getting the computer to retrieve sensor information is not the hard task in the mod. Its the custom programming and design work needed to create the Display. Some guy did it for an RX7 I think, but not a lot is known about how he got it all to work. If you find anything during your continued search, let us know. Best of luck Aidan

What sort of advice can you give me regarding the amps? Do I want monoblock(whatever that means) 2 channels/4 channels? I really have no idea on this. I'm gunna go demo some speakers during the week. G'day Guys, I'm about to do up my R33 with a new sound system. The head unit i'm getting is the Pioneer AVIC-HD3 v2. I may want to put some subs in the boot at some stage, but for now i'm looking at some 6.5" Splits for the front and some 6x9's for the rear. Might change the rears to regular 6/6.5 Inch 2 ways if people suggest stearing clear of the 6x9's. Any advice would be great. I'm thinking about going a Fusion setup Fusion PP-CM650 6.5" Front Splits Fusion PP-FR6920 6x9" Rear or Pioneer Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.5" Splits Pioneer TS-D6902R 6x9" 2 Way rears Not entirely sure about amps. Any advice would be much appreciated. As usual I'm looking for the cheapest solution and the best quality. Price wise. I'd like to keep the speakers below 600 for the lot. The amp/amps no more than 400. If there is another brand I should be looking at for these price range. Let me know of whats good. Cheers Aidan

Hey mate, did the car come with ABS? Looking to install ABS into my Series 2 so I'm after the whole abs kit. Also, I'm chasing the little clip on the bonnet that holds metal arm that holds the bonnet up. Its the black clip on the left. Currently the only thing broken on the car and it annoys the crap out of me.

Hey guys, looking to install ABS into my R33. Its a Series 2 Coupe. Series 1 or 2 should be fine as long as all the bits are there. WA guys would be best. But I may be able to sort out shipping if need be.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Much appreciated. TBH, the reason I was looking at getting the ABS installed was because I actually had a bit of a spinout...the day I got the car. Lucky there was no damage. I was stupid/reckless and totally forgot I wasn't in my Sonata. Came onto boost around a corner, back end slid out heaps, I counter steered and braked, but I assume my brakes must have locked up cos the car did a full 180 and landed in a ditch beside the road. Gave me a bit of a scare and so im now looking at mostly handling mods, rather than getting more power. ABS seemed like the first good choice. If anyone has ripped there ABS out and can give me a list of what I'll need, that would be awesome. Cheers

Hey guys, am in similar situation. 96 R33 GTS-T. Looking for some nice smooth feeling shocks. If I go with the Bilsteins, should I stick with the stock springs or get new ones? I want a nice smooth ride but not too rocky around corners. I was going to get some Tein SS Coilovers with those EDFC things because it sounded cool but I figure if I can get a nicer feel for less, that'd be the best way to go. I'm a fairly "Spirited" driver but not interested in drifting or sliding. I'd Like to keep it between 1-2k Cheers
