  1. Year: 1984 model:DR30 RS Turbo Body type: Coupe Colour: Red/Black
  2. they will give you more caster but not any more camber really having said that there a nightmare to adjust on a wheel aligner, i did a wrx race car with them on it tonight it sucked big time haha, id just use s13 tops and sit them side ways like i have there result is near on the same so far as i can see
  3. ill get you a set off pedders ones for far less than that if you want camber tops.. dont you already have them though?
  4. its located just in front of the right hand rear suspension hard to explain its excact position.. 044 it is... so why two in your cefiro?
  5. hey guys i need a new external fuel pump for the fj turbo will a bosch 044 do the job? are there better value pumps out there? i honestly have no idea other than it must be external mine has been changed to external and high flow? Marc
  6. did you slot the upper clevis hole?
  7. 16" is what they are.. iv mathematically worked out the scale haha 16.1417 mm to be precise
  8. Pedders coilovers. same as BC really spring rates and bodys are changed... and not camber pins.. they dont give enough iv slotted the top hole.. i can get up to 8deg of neg camber haha
  9. k-mac = no! IMHO the top bolt hole in this picture is slotted to alow movement in the hub.. it wont move if done up tight, but adjustment of it is hard without a hoist and or very good jacks..
  10. max them out then haha, i think 4 to 4.5 was around standard? but someone like Dennis would have that info id say? what i have done is used s13 top mounts, mounted sideways to add caster and made a adjustable upper clevis mount for camber (this is why im making adjustable arms) as the oe struts have no clevis.
  11. im getting 8.15 and 8 i have jun caster rods and i have mounted my top mounts back in the tower, ill get more when the s13 stuff comes out of the car, plus im ether building or buying adjustable lower arms for more track and camber
  12. I have emailed Ben, no response as yet.. I have also been attempting to overlay images over the image of that toy and they really seem bigger than 15"(hence why I'm thinking 16 ATM, if you look at the wheel space at the front in particular and compare that to a car with 15s the wheel on the toy fills it better with a smaller profile tire don't you think? As for guard cutting! That still gives me nightmares haha, I'll likely get the panel shop next door do it..
  13. arghhhhh!!!!!! what are you doing to me haha they are sick!! but there to big i think?? also i really would love more dish 10-10.5, 11?? im really feeling 16s to be honest but maybe your right??? i really want to nail that image top of this thread though i think 16s look like the go to me. rotas would save alot of money! (lets not make this into a debate about there quality please!!!) in particular if the fitment is not right it does not cost me 2500!! also i made these tonight Koni adjustable's with 8kg springs on to the front next im using the the originals and putting in koni Z31 inserts which makes them 45mm ish shorter
  14. shit the more i look maybe the 16x8 and 16.9.5 look the size i want gosh its hard to decide! poll? 15" or 16" just look based only, not on brake fitment ground clearance etc
  15. He looks good value!!! having said that the wheels are few and far between (offset/size wize) but you never know! Dan, im going to put 10+kg fronts in mine its about the same as a track s13 would run and withthis new setup i intend to do track days in it, i didnt get to speak to the flairs guys today but i will do, id say z flairs would fit. Cheers
  16. good solution!! haha and yeah the rake looks good bro just makes it a bit of a sump puncher! haha but in all seriousness maybe some heavy springs would help?
  17. yeah fair call.. well im chasing the look of the pictures above so those flairs are fairly big. ill give them a call and visit. im not afraid of running the car with 15s im aware of the sump issue, iv hit and reinforced mine.. i think ill run it a little higher for driving and drop it for shows, the other sump saver idea is to run the cars a little more level ie bring the rear down more they tend to sit nose down and that does not help. Dan iv noticed this on your car in particular and was going to ask you the other Sunday actually..ill also likely run a heavy spring and shock setup so avoid nose dip on bumps. maybe we should design a sump setup for fjs people all over the world will buy them haha now also its my guess ill need to cut the guard at the rear, that over all that is probably my biggest concern, i mean i cant go back once its done, thats why i want to make sure its done right!! i mean im happy to do it but its just got to be perfect!
  18. dont get me wrong i just figured that it looked to be wearing about 55-60s i dont care for driveability as much as it looking right! tires need that stretch they also need the right style of wall, there wont be any short cuts! 15x9 -13 fronts 15x12 -51 rear? is my current guess for correct width?? d-limo what width are your rear wheels ?
  19. they look 55s or 60s?? to me though and its not all that slammed is it? it looks similar to mine does now (height wise)
  20. YES! and width these all have to be perfect can you post pics of your fitment on the z?? if anyone else has pictures of old school aggressive dish style setups that they know the width offset and maybe even tire size please post it. we can all have fun with this
  21. there not as exsy as i thought in the size i want just under 3 k is in budget... i guess width is key now that there able to be got easy enough and do i want wanatabes or would the same look be awesome with longchamps? mk2s, streets! argh choices!!
  22. i saw that grey car, its pretty close and running 16s not 15s im not sure what size but 15s seem more common? but as you said brake clearance maybe an issue. i am 99percent sure ill go with 15s as i really like the look and i have a some very good sets of 15" tires track and street which helps and are they 9.5 rear? they look wider ether way the stance is very near what i want.. checking wanatabe prices. will your brother be at forum battle tomorrow? ill buy a set then
  23. hey guys iv decided to change the look of my Dr30 iv kept pushing these bigger wheels and its not doing it.. here is a pic of a model car i found which is exactly what i want! i want to do it right so im going to source the wheels from import monster unless anyone here is selling there watanabes?? can anyone in the DR30 community help me with sourcing a lip spoiler and flairs? i seem to remember Dennis having some?? i just want rears only also anyone want to help by best guesses on the size and offset of those wheels? im thinking 15x10 or maybe even 15x12 rear and 15x8 front something like +25 offset? iv seen all the sizes for sale on IM but i cant afford many sets so id like to try buy the right size and offset first up.. a couple more shots id be in dept to anyone who can help get this happening.. im selling my s13 setup to for anyone interested? just pm me for deats Also im currently building a set off custom coilovers to suit out of the oe stuff ill post some pics on here as they develop works.. how much are those lower strut spacers your brother had on the weekend? i need a set Cheers guys
