The increase in power drain initially can be from your immobiliser/alarm as it initialises itself since you completed the circuit. I've done the test before and the same thing happened.

Thanks Mark! Definitely a classic in terms of proportions and styling. You can't mistake it for anything else!
I think it was your VS2 that I spotted as well? It was very nice!
Yes the white VS2 is mine, thanks! I love the car and it was great to have it out on such a good run.

Matt, that photo of the two N1s from the rear left is amazing! Don't think I'll ever get sick of the R32s body lines.

Thanks for organising, it was a great day!

Thanks, wasn't really expecting stock ones cause of the bad reputation they have and with how much you've driven the car on the track, good reliability test .

Lot's of good info fatz!
Not sure if I missed it, which oil pump were you using in both engines?

How far in advance do you need to know if additional people are coming?

Loved this cruise last year, attending this one!

Can't find that in my version of FAST, maybe someone else can try?
-
Don't think I can run that through FAST. It should be the chassis number like BNR32 and then 6 numbers. What car is this from? Can you look on any of the plates on the firewall for it?
-
Any help with this please?
BNR32-307455
Thank you!
Model: KBNR32RBFSAA
Production year: February 1994
Colour: Spark Silver Metallic
Interior Colour: Dark Grey
Engine: RB26DETT
Gearbox: 5 Speed manual
HICAS 4WD
GT-R with 17" wheels (V-Spec)
From what I can see, this is a V-Spec but not a V-Spec II (Supposed to have an 8 between S and AA in the model). Being that yours is a February 1994 build and V-Spec II's started in February 1994, I think you came in right before the V-Spec II's started.

White grease on the cogs is normal, I had the same thing when I opened up the temperature control motor. I haven't taken apart the vent mode motor so I'm not sure about how the cogs line up, but you can get a new motor through Kudos Motorsports.

Paulyp, did you modify your condenser fan to turn on with the air con?
-
Because you have an FG Falcon XR6?
Nah, it's the standard size for a R32 GTR Vspec II.

Glad they come in 245/45/17 (The Japanese Bridgestone site didn't list it last time I checked), will be buying a set once they are released!

Those photos look good Bob, should turn up really well. One thing that annoys me is the factory paint on the inside edge of the boot that goes all the way around (Forget the name). Would be nice if there was some thicker paint there from factory!

I was just thinking this week, I wonder when the magazine will come out about the 25th anniversary!
Thanks Terry Gonna pick one up tomorrow.

How much are they normally from there?
Battery Drain Rear Tail Lights
in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Posted
What made you think it was the tail lights in the first place? At 9mA you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I believe it's when you go over 50mA that you have a problem (Google that though to be sure). Since the immobiliser is active and is also waiting for a signal from your remote, it does have to drain some power obviously, but it should be very little. If you are having battery draining issues, maybe look elsewhere. When you have the engine running, what voltage are you getting from the battery? You might be having some charging issues instead.
