For a NA rb25 the max diameter he should be getting is 2.5 inch or the car would be absolutely guttless down low.

I saved up $12 000 from working with my dad for 2 years, to get my r33 Never wanted to take a loan out on my first car, just all money i saved up. Then got full comp insurance with shannons under my dads name with me as a nominated driver and that costs about $1000 a year. Always been a good saver so i don't stuggle keeping up with rego, insurance, petrol, servicing etc etc -
Suitable Exhaust Size For An N/a R32?
mick2nv replied to arthur32's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
Yeah mate im sure it will fix it as long as its good quality, your better off going to a custom exhaust place and telling them you dont want the noise there and they will do it for you, thats exactly what i did and it was the best decision i made. -
heres my r33 and another and yes dont think that red P = hoon

Suitable Exhaust Size For An N/a R32?
mick2nv replied to arthur32's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
That raspy noise you hear is a very common noise heard on all NA skylines, it isnt a problem, its just gotta be replaced with a good exhaust system to get rid of it. Cheap generic cannons make it heaps worse so dont think about one of them!! And for size for an rb20de i would think 2.25 inch should be good. -

My Newly Installed Exhaust System
mick2nv replied to mick2nv's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
Not at all mate, it ended up costing me $2200 as i chose to go with stainless steel (more durable, lasts longer), while the mild steel was priced at $1200 im pretty sure. And that price included the entire system including a new cat plus labour -
