I am a bit weary about buying a used engine because it could very well be a hand grenade and then that would be a big waste of $$$$ i would prefer to spend the extra and get a rebuild, and while they have cracked the engine open i might as well get some good high compression na internals, i am not looking for 500rwhp cause with the amount of money i want to spend it wouldn't be a reliable 500rwhp this car is daily driven!

Yeah my mechanic said that there was coolant leaking from the head when i got it, so i took it back to the dealer to get it fixed, they said they tightened the head bolts what a joke, then i took it back again cause coolant was still pissing everywhere and they "replaced the pipe to the radiator" which i reckon is a load of BS, i think they put engine seal up in the thing cause it hasn't been the as good as it used to, i might try a different MAF, get some new spark plugs and the injectors cleaned, anyone know if it i had a compression test done weather it would show weather or not they put engine seal up in?

reset the ecu and it revs now but it doesnt pull very hard at high rpm. I am thinking it is time for a rebuild.

What sought of $$$$ would i be looking at to do an engine rebuild on the vq35de? maybe a high compression NA build cause it will cost way too much to turbo it and rebuild it. I did think about building an engine but isn't the labor of getting someone to tear down the engine going to cost huge $$$$. I was looking on ebay america and you can get forged internals for $1500 but getting the put in properly is alot of work! if i put in forged internals and bumped up the compression to 11:1 would i need a new ecu. Has anyone actually priced doing an N/A build, my budget for everything (parts&labor) is 10k. And if i am spending that much i want at least 280hp at the wheels and the engine to run like its new. Any good engine builders in sydney?

Also would it be legal to put a 2001 engine in a 2004 car?

Hey has anyone put a vq30det into a v35 before, would it be able to use the standard engine mounts? Would i have to do alot of custom work? would the wiring be difficult? I am thinking about doing this because my vq35de intake sucked up a bit of water and doesnt pull in the high rpm's anymore. If it is going to be alot of work i will probably just get another vq35de

hey guys after all the heavy rain my 2004 350gt coupe wont rev past 2500rpm, it has a nismo cai and when i got the car home i noticed it was soaked, any ideas what to do?

Hey guys sometimes my car rev limits at 2500rpm and i have to turn the engine off before it goes normal again Any ideas what to do? should i be worried i have a nismo r tune intake and a motordyne plenum spacer not sure if they would effect it though.

Hi guys i am selling my v35 18" wheels these are rare as they only came on v35's fitted with brembo brakes they are in vgc but have a little bit of gutter rash on the front passenger wheel. They have potenza's on them but the tyres aren't roadworthy $1200 neg. I am Located in Dee Why pick up only. Please pm me any questions.

Hey i was look at getting a set of buddy club p1 plus II 19" and a 9.5" width with offset +22 all round, would these fit with a 245/30/19 tyre size on the front and a 265/30/19 on the back, i have a 04 v35 coupe with brembos anyone know if this will fit?

Hi guys i have just had my brake rotors front and back machined and had new hawk hps brake pads fitted to my v35 with brembos now it doesn't have any bite and stops very poorly, is this because it has all just been done and will get better soon or am i know stuck with a set of brakes which barely stop?
