  1. I have no idea mate, but they work a treat
  2. Danwatt the more pics you have to share the better for all interested!! spoke to the tuner tonight and he's confident we can extract good HP, the programming is quite complex and he needs time to go through all the standard parameteres before he starts to play....not as easy as tuning a GTR, but there is definitely potential guys. Once we have definitive figures more than happy to put everyone in touch with the source....no secrets here, the guy just needs his space to do his work before he gets bombarded with enquiries. If anyone outthere has a spare ECU off a VQ25DET they would like to donate in the name of research please PM me. Cheers TT
  3. When you say overly restrictive exhaust...did you have the turbo boosted as well? Who flowed the turbo for you and what sort of dollars. I think the stock turbo is a little laggy and could do with a smaller exhaust housing & up the compressor side, all in all the car is a pleasure to drive and a few modes here & there should really liven it up. WOW a VQ25DET in a S15 now that would be something special, Jamhe77 considering the Stagea is a luxury wagon I can see how there would be limited peformance uprgrades...406nm of torque out of a standard 2.5L is still quite impressive in anyones language especially when your carting nearly 2T Maybe we should consider a Stagea Dyno Day in the future & compare some notes amongst fellow enthusiasts, right now i can confirm the tuner has the ability to tap into the standard ECU to fine tune & calibrate parameteres without having to consider any piggy back or aftermarket ECU's. Guys one thing I have noticed is that I have never topped up the tank close to 80L even with it dry as a bone, can anyone comment on this; the most I've filled is 68L of fuel. Cheers TT
  4. Thanks for the invite mate! All depends on whether I get the car back today, the tuner is crunching some data at the moment.....If possible I'll tun up to say hello & meet with fellow enthusiasts. Cheers TT
  5. Guys I have had enquires on seperating cams, I prefer to sell as a package if there is genuine interest
  6. Its for an r32 written on the box, rated 600HP.....but we all know there are cars out there with Ross balancers punching 800-1000hp.
  7. Should have some Dyno results soon. Has anyone done any turbo upgrades on an nm35??
  8. Hi Guys, The head I had stripped & cleaned as I was planning an RB30 project which is has now been canned, the cams where sent to camtech to check specs, they have N1 written on the side and I have a cam pro plus cam lift report outlining details The head has been ported in Japan and comes with heavy duty springs and all other bits & pieces, it apparently came off a 700HP vspec. $1500 ono
  9. New in Box ATI balancer to suit RB26 $900
  10. Hi Guys, I have a set of HKS Hyper D coilovers in excellent condition to suit R33 GTS, I have had them since new and they offer exceptional handling. With the current exchange rates items like these are way too expensive to import and hard to find in good condition. Why spend money on cheap chinese rips offs, if you are serious about the safety & handling of your car always buy quality products. $1800
  11. Thanks for the info, So what reccomendation would you have as a replacement after market rotor & pad combo thats a direct bolt on with minimum fuss. I assumed the 350Z front & rears would be exactly the same but I've been told the rear discs are slightly different to the 350Z touring??
  12. I supplied my own sard high flow cat and the guys havn't worked out the price yet for the work carried out on the AXIS, as they are also making up a few other things for my GTR. Speak to either Jim or Tarkan at Liverpool Exhausts; I'm sure they'll be very competative on a full turbo system compared to a Jap cat back job. Just mention Tony with the silver AXIS as this was the first turbo dump they ever did and I'm sure it wont be the last. As you can see from the pics there quality and craftsmanship is A1!! I was fortunate to swap my stock exhaust for the Cat Back Fujistubo with another car that was imported the same time mine came in, so the imported did me a favour considering I purchased the car from them.
  13. Whats a fullset of pads front & rear worth?....,, I'm planning a road trip soon heading to Great Ocean Road, so will most probably just do a pad change for now but would like to explore Rotor options available for future reference. Cheers TT
  14. Thanks Andy, I've read some of those posts, sounds like a great option, but I'm more interested in a direct oem replacment that is compatible. Nissan a reasonably priced for stock rotors, and I found the standard brakes to be OK, remember this thing will never see track work, just open road cruising. has anyone determined whether the rears discs are compatible with any other models. i.e 200sx, v35, maxima etc....
  15. Here are some pics of the turbo dumps done by Liverpool exhaust, the original dumps are quite restricitve with the precat True testament to the Fujistubo design is that the car is still reasonably quiet...should be interesting when we fine tune it and give her a little tickle....keeping in mind its really meant to be the family hauler
  16. The original wheels are getting some gutter rash cleaned up, I agree the polished allows look mucher nicer on the silver duco. The car was recently imported for me, I was particular about the twin sunroofs and couldnt find one for sale locally.
  17. Hi Guys, I finally got my 2003 Stagea AXIS aka BATTLE STAR GALACTICA, better than what I expected, some of my colleagues in their Merc's,Beemers & Audi Rs4's are quite impressed with the ride. The car was dead standard when it arrived 31K on the clock, I recently added a set of R34 GTR wheels & a Fujistubo Catback exhaust.... **Liverpool Exhaust have just made the first turbo dump pipe for me and I'll have some before and after power figures documented soon detailing changes with the mods in place.** AUTECH have definitely refined the ride on the AXIS; having driven the ARX's they can be a bit of a boat ride, but this car carves up high speed sweepers effortlessly without the harshness of some of the aftermaket coilovers. Can anyone offer feedback on Brake rotor upgraders such as DBA or RDA, are the discs & pads the same as the V35's....?? Cheers TT
  18. Gday mate, is this still avaialble and can you tell me if you got the upgraded shaft with this as PPG also do a much beefier shaft to their standard issue. Which dealer did you buy this from? I've been quoted $5200 for brand new so $7500 is quite pricey.
  19. This is a private event, so normal drivers licence, helmet & long sleeve top

  22. Padey, Great to hear you enjoyed yourself....it turned out to be an awesome night, max 17 cars and 4 hours of open track!! I had the chance the take the 993 twin turbo for a few hot laps; nice bit of gear.....but a fully loaded GTR quenches my thirst anytime!!! I had the the Baby GTST & the VW R32 out....you soon realise that 350 rwkw's (gtst) are quite a handful through the twisties... but oh so much fun when you blast past a Twin Turbo Porka! I'm in discussion with the events managers about another Twlight session, will keep you posted! Its been a while since I've posted on the forums but some of you blokes need to put your hand in your pocket occassionally & stop moaning about a measly $200....this is the best $200 you can spend, your driving Eastern Creek & also have the facilities of supercar intructors!!!
  23. Yeah, It was a great run home, I had my mate driving who couldnt believe the corner speed you can carry in an RX8, he kept backing off and all he could here from me was "Keep you foot into it and you will be surprised", it took him a while to get used to the cars phenominal handling capabilities. The R34 looks tough, and sat thru the twisties pretty flat, see you next time
  24. Great Cruise Guys, :rave: Reminds me of the good old Dawn Run, it was great to see so many people enjoying the Mountain, I was surprised we didnt get a visit from the local constanbulary. Thanks for allowing a Rotary in the mix, the SKYLINE was out of Rego! Heres are few pics
