  1. LOL! I always wanted to get the number plates STOLEN. Drive around with those on and watch the attention you get from Police and Public alike...
  2. Hi Tosh, I have an R32 GTR with the following modifications: Standard Airbox (with BMC Air Filter) Front Pipes and Evolution II Trust 3.5" Exhaust System Full rebuilt, balanced, with machined engine with forged pistons, IBeam Conrods, Competition Bearings Tomei Cam Gears Hi Volume 500hp Fuel Pump Currently running 1 bar of boost (no boost controller or aftermarket boost gauge) with the standard turbos. I'm interested in getting the ECU remapped (on road, not dyno) and would like to confirm the following: 1. What is modified/corrected? 2. What isn't modified/corrected? 3. Does this tune remove the 'over boost' protection and 180 kph speed restriction? Cheers!
  3. If I had my time again I'd sink some dough and make Honda my first car of purchase. These things are designed for P-Platers like yourself. Great handling, decent looks, naturally aspirated, fuel and insurance friendly, and not too much of that P-Plater killing power that takes out so many enthusiastic kiddies these days. Make your life a combination of experiences! Drive a front wheel drive now, a rear wheel drive drifter later, a convertible, a 4WD, and then save the best for that time when you'll truly appreciate it!
  4. Beautiful post! It's the simple things in life that make it worth living...
  5. My R32 GTR has been the most horrendously expensive car I have ever owned. Bar none. However, every other car that I have ever owned COMBINED has not brought me half as much pleasure as it has. There is a good reason why it has it's reputation. Even an easy cruise down to the local shops provides a pleasure hard to describe to anybody who hasn't driven one, and my personal opinion is that driving anything else is robbing yourself of that pleasure. My vote is the GTR, regardless of age. However, if you wanted to be sure, I would recommend TEST-DRIVING them all, then making your decision. Research will only convey a small amount of a car's true potential.
  6. "Anybody Know What This Button Is For?" Careful. The last transmission from Space Shuttle challenger contained this exact phrase...
  7. LOL! Totally agree. It's always amusing to see a guy in a BMW with a plate stating the same, when it's quite obvious to even the most ignorant observer. Why pay good money to communicate a message that the badge on the back of your car already has?
  8. There are many cars out there with lots of power, but the biggest smiles on my dial were put there but what I achieved using the GTR's amazing driveline while launching and cornering. I could not possibly recommend anything other then the almighty GTR.
