Hey guys, Tried searching but not really getting what i wanna find. Pretty simple, i want a cheap and quick replacement gearbox. Now will a RB30 fit straight onto a RB20det motor no worries ? Thanks guys

Ok still no good. Ive just come to the conclusion that 5th is just screwed up. It just feels like it wont select in, and when i disengage the clutch it grind. Like usually when you change into gear it kinda pops/clicks in, with 5th it just goes into position and when disengage clutch it just grinds. Im done for, guess time to rebuild 5th ???

Just changed it all. Seems no different. Could it be selectors ? i highly doubt syncro's are rooted.

How many litres of oil is required for the gearbox ? or can i just pour the whole 4ltr bottle into it.

Nah it was castrol oil. I used the full bottle pretty much. Im not too sure how much the gearbox contains.

Heys guys, just recently ive done an oil change on my RB20 gearbox. After the oil change, it won't go into 5th, it just grinds. What could be wrong ??? its not like 5th getrs thrashed like 1st and 2nd.

Hi guys. Lately my RB2Odet silvia has been having an issue with the temp guage. Im using the stock silvia cluster with the RB ECU. So here is what happens, Everytime i take of the clutch with load on the engine the temp bar flickers up and down. But when hitting hard on boost it just goes straight down and comes back up when you let the foot off the gas. Its only just happened ever since i installed the new radiator. I've hooked 2 thermo fans on it and ran it off the accessories with a In-line blade fuse breaker and relay. Since then ive also blown 2 ignition fuses also. Can anybody help me on this one ?
