I had 2 differant palces give me the same reading (20%) so i just ripped it all out carefully doesnt look as good but i didnt pay for the tint i just wanted my pass on the pits!!! Gonna get em re-done though, to legal grade tint in the future though

Yeah mine doesnt have the switch It has a spot were a switch may go just no switch in it!!!

Yeah its all good But it wont be on the road tomorrow because they said they have to send the paperwork to perth and have it sent back then i can register it??....

To update this guys it wasnt all bad results are as follows.... It needs Rubber on 2 of the pedals (brake and clutch). Tint was 2 dark thats coming off in the morning. And finally the exhaust was too noisy so i got a silencer for it!! Going back tomoz provideing i get the peddles in time..... Rims/tyres and suspension was ok. He went thru the paperwork i took with me to check the tommy kaira bits to make sure they were actually there and fitted as spec sheet Thanks for all the help/advice and imput guys

It has been registered and had rwc over east...... Ahh right i thought you were saying its nothing special when its just as special as say a nismo or a veilside skyline they are all rare and unique

Exactly yeah you are wrong for example sti as above and nismo trd and so fourth 400 Were sent from nissan to tommy kaira factory just like suabru sent say 421 sti type r to be changed into 22bs.....

Hopefully he will read my paperwork and understand its how it came and it hasnt been modded since new....

cheers yeah thats it with the exhaust i think too, ie just get a silencer if too noisy... I think personally they are gonna pull me for the tyre widths being differant, but i have printed off the official tommy kaira sales brochure with it saying on there the specs which mine is...... So hopefully he will read it and be ok with me......

I did look into it i knew it would have to go over the pits to be registered here in WA, but with it being what it is ie not a stock skyline from the factory what can you do??? Its like having say a escort rs 2000 and an escort rs cosworth isnt it, same car but both differant in many ways...... Yeah i should get the mrs to take it but she cant drive Its going in at 2pm this arvo so fingers crossed.......

Cheers for that and thanks to everyone for the quick help/advice I think i will take it now tomoz after all and see what they say as for the tyres They are the Tommy Kaira split rims fronts are 235/35/18 rears are 265/35/18 It also has a 3rd brake light in the rear window

Just been checking the exhaust system out guys and here goes... From the block to the manifold (extractors i think they are called here) that goes direct into the turbo then out the turbo there is a twin neck pipe that goes into a 3" system BUT.... about were the handbrake is there is a smaller piece of oval shaped canister about 16" long is this the cat or a muffler middle box?? after that it carrys on with the 3" system...

Were is xspeed?? I am in bunbury, that would be great though what about suspension will that fail being too hard?

Right guys and girls going to the pits tomoz with my tommy kaira skyline i bought from over east.... Anyway was wondering what they will be checking i gather brakes lights all electrical items etc But i am worried about little things like the suspension as its fairly rock hard and virtually no play in it?? plus it has no cats on it and a 3" straight thru exhaust. Should i be worried about these 2 things?? car is on coilovers i think? and i have measured the car height and at its lowest point its 120mm off the ground i am under the impresion it has to be over 100mm?? Also the rear tyres are about 1 maybe 2mm above the wear indicators they are 265.35.18s and ubber dear for new ones (got some quotes at around $400 a side) Anyway is there anything else they may fail it for ie fmic bov etc etc I aint gonna sleep tonight!!
