I refuse to live anywhere that only has the option of street parking. and semi related... what is with people who live somewhere with a double garage and STILL park on the street? I hate those people so much.

Yep. Remember how we were wondering wtf an M80i is? Well, it's just an immobiliser. You have to buy all the extra parts (sirens, sensors etc) and install them as well. So I got an immobiliser, and a hole drilled in my console, for $500. You know how sometimes certain things just make you want to not drive your car? This is one of them for me.

The black bottom section - with the clock in it. The right hand side of it was drilled through. It was only an immobiliser that was installed, so even getting a siren won't do sweet F.A. It'll probably only cover the doors alarm wise (if they were even hooked up), not my boot and bonnet. I'm just going to save up some cash and get Chris Rogers to rip out the piece of crap that's in there and put one in properly. $500 for JUST an immobiliser. And a dicky turbo timer

Ok, fine. Anyone know where I can get a new bottom section of my dash console? The black plastic bit that covers the bottom of the steering column. Mine has a dirty great big hole in it from that guy who installed the "alarm". My OCD is really acting up over that every time I get in the car (not to mention my anger for not being asked before drilling through one of my panels). Also... anyone know how much the mongoose sirens are? I've played around with this bastard for weeks, and it's not hooked up to the horn in lieu of a siren being installed. So I really really need to get one put in. How much did everyone else pay for their alarm/immobiliser set ups? I can't remember the brand of the alarm I had in the Capri, but it was an alarm/immobiliser and cost me $385 (installed). Was AS/NZ standards etc etc. This one was much more than that... for no alarm I'm getting really worried about my head unit being in the car now Oh... and should my warranty card be filled out? It's blank

LOL Is that meant to say "Turbo" ? It reads like "Traito" to me, which with the lazy way Australians say everything sounds like Tray-do, which is close enough to tradie that it makes me picture this plate on a triton. Or should that be TTriton

Colin & Brandon: That idiot in the commonwhore who kept trying to make me race him. After you guys turned off, he sat in front of me doing 50 in an 80 zone obviously to get me to go out past him and speed up, so I just sat behind him. He then sped up to 80 and changed into the right hand lane, speeding up, slowing down, speeding up, slowing down. I'm driving along at 80 drinking my Rockstar. He FINALLY gets bored of it and drops it back a gear, gives it a boot full. *BANG* *SCREECH* *SKID* *FISHTAIL* *BIGGER FISHTAIL* *LIMITER BASH* *CRAB WALK* *MORE CRAB* *INTO GUARD RAIL* I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't drive. It was quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

Ugh... yes... info would help *idiot* It's an R32 GTS4 - it's a small black plug with one green wire and one black wire connected to it. It's under the driver's and comes up through a hole in the carpetting. My car doesn't have an airbag, and no, the seatbelt warning light doesn't come on. But I'm also not sure if I have one. I'll double check that on ACC and see if I have one when everything lights up. Thanks for the input so far guys
