  1. well all this lubing and robing and unicorning had made me rather sleepy... so I think that's me for tonight. You should go check all your bow lines are secure before you turn in yourself. We don't want Nautica IX running adrift during the night!!
  2. oh god! not again! I'm still sore from the robe and wizard hat antics from last night!!
  3. maybe... but then if I ever wanted to have my landing strip back... well I'd be heartbroken!
  4. I was thinking of treating myself, and going for the wax this time
  5. not true! I bought a hot set of stilettos for when I pick her up! ...granted... I'll be wearing them... but shush!!
  6. yep, you already got your achillies heels on there lol
  7. well if your tyres weren't so damned hard!! friggin max sports...
  8. I told you to break the bottle on the wheels... but did you listen? of course not! oh and Martin - happy birthday!
  9. I'm not sure... as far as I'm aware, air horns are illegal. Not sure about weird sounds. Shouldn't you maybe do the maifold before the horn?
  10. Ah, well there we go. Same everywhere! Now it's even less of a problem! Crisis solved!
  11. Another thought just hit me. All you QLD people (don't know about the other states) manage to be on 0% for the 3 years you're on your Ps. Harden up.
  12. You've never tried my Grandmother's lemonade
  13. Didn't look at your side bar. QLD taxi drivers are 0.00 (I may still have the book somewhere if you need me to prove it) as are our other transport drivers. Pilot information I was given by my brother who has had his pilot's licence for 15 years
  14. Why can't you sit back and have a couple of cold cokes? Why does it have to be alcoholic? Why not home made lemonade? Iced tea? If you need alcohol to 'relax' you probably should be in a program Nope, I don't think it's silly at all. Like I say. I did it for years. All other bus/taxi drivers, truck drivers, police officers, paramedics etc etc etc have to do it. So why not EVERYONE who goes on the road? Hell even pilots and train drivers have to. The less variable the better as far as I'm concerned. One rule for all.
  15. Is the rice hiding behind the palm tree?
  16. I was able to be on 0% EVERY DAY when I drove cabs. I did that for years. Not ONCE did I have any trouble with it. You'll find that most meals with alcohol in them, by the time you finish desert/coffee/sitting around gas bagging, you'll be clear to drive. If there's enough alcohol in your dinner to have you still reading over 0 by the time you get around to driving... holy shit is the only thing I can say to that. I imagine Gen Y will have the biggest problem with this issue. Alcohol isn't a necessity, people need to realise that.
  17. same story with lots of great shows; ie. arrested development, earth 2, moonlight, the new knight rider
