  1. Hey guys and girls,

Mate of mine just bought a nice big huffer for his Supra. He has the turbz, manifold, wastegate etc and needs an install done (not the diy type of guy i guess lol).

Anyone able to suggest the best place to get it done? has to be cost efficient and he's got to get an intake pipe to the turbo made up as well as a front pipe and something off the wastegate.

    All input appreciated.

    (I know it's not a skyline)

    Cheers,

    Dave.

(possible money maker for those who have the time / tools / etc to do it them selves...)

  2. Soooo I was sitting at the lights the other day and this maxima pulls up next to me (late 90's model) and I looked at the wheels because they looked like S14 stockies. Upon closer inspection I looked at the stud pattern and though hang on a minute that looks like 5 x 114.3 :starwars: and the brake were rather large aswell.

This got me thinking, would it be possible to put these onto a ceffy like what is done with the other conversions ??

After all if you can fit Ferrari brakes to an S15 im sure this is possible too! Please inform me tech gurus....

I asked this yonks ago but cant remember what the response was lol

tried a search but can't find it... pretty sure it was one of those "not worth the effort" type responses... :s

  3. Am still keen to look @ GTR rims...just need some 5 stud rotors and calipers and i can consider it.

Just got to worry about the cash layout, getting the car drivable, before considering how it looks!

But as Blitz said, will be sticking with the 4 stud for a bit.....more interested in throwing the money towards other performance parts atm.

    Ando

ha ha! if you got 33 gtr rims, when i got my arse into gear (or got some money :O) we could be twins :O with wsx kits :) he he he!

  5. MAD!

can i just ask... you said the rear seats are that touch to wide. Does that mean it's hard to close the doors or anything like that?

If i get a cef I'd like to do the same thing with the interior so was just curios.

    Cheers,

    Dave.

ha ha ha! only one thing holding me back at this point man.... $ :P

saw a mad gold one in hornsby the other day though! :D

Sounds like a good shopping list as well :)

  8. He was driving a marked patrol car....

As for the wastegate? I dont know why he was that specific, just an excuse to have a look maybe.

    Yeah, that's my guess too.

Despite common belief, a lot of police are actually excellent and aren't out there to F&%k you in the arse.

obviously you've been polite and respectful which is what you should be and also the reason some people have troubles... they're not.

although, I can say from experience, there are some police that are just bulsh*tting arseholes.

  9. relax, i think everyone mucking around, right from the start i said the rims look whiete and theres no stickers.

    steve

Just on that note (by the way I'm not trying to say it was danielson lol!)...

If you put chrome wheels on your car that are a pretty full design (ie not spokey - don't know how to explain it, say danielsons is a full design and r34 wheels are a spokey design)... and then take a photo of it with the light reflecting off them... what colour would they come up in when you printed them in a news paper? (ie not on a ring-a-ding photo printer)....???

I know what colour i'd guess they came out as (that light reflection is a key factor i believe).

    just for curiosities sake? anyone?

    (p.s. excuse the poor spelling)

  10. See, what i was saying all along, it wasn't even danielsons car in the newspaper. You can cause alot of damage to people by falsly accusing them of crimes. How would u guys out there that were so quick to call him a fu(kwit have felt if his car got trashed. If it were me i would be speaking to lawyers and filing a defamation lawsuit. I think u guys who accused him should now apologise

and i'm sure a judge would love to hand you a defamation payment after your comment about aussie voters as well :P bit of the pot calling the kettle black don't you think?

  11. ROFL..

next you're going to say.. "If you don't like it leave" or some other ACA catchcry...

    lol

I'm dead serious... that is my opinion (in no way ACA inspired either).

no offense to anyone but i'm sick of people coming here and saying the place is shit. that's what airports are for, if you wanna complain then get to one and piss off somewhere else!

  12. f**k me! I'm sorry sorry to hear about your loss champ... she looked mint!

as you can see from my signature, I'm in the same position as you... only my claim is a little different.

all the best with it, here's hoping that it's a smooth and relatively painless procedure for you.

my only aditional comment is that most alarms (i've had a couple of hornet systems - one of which was similar to your and cost me a grand) have that vallet switch as a bypass in case the battery in your remote goes flat etc. Usually you'd have to turn the ignition on and do something with the switch then kick the car over. so technically you can do the same thing hot wiring the car and using the vallet switch.

also, a 3 point immoboliser really doesn't do any where near as much as people think it does... 3 lots of electrical wire and they will have your car with ease.

sorry to be a bit glum on it, i know it doesn't help but i thought i should put my 2c in.

Once again, all the best with it!
