  1. Damm i love this car. the colour looks better on the stagea than the fords. now if only i could afford to do this (different colour of course) to my car, i like the gtr front ends, i think they look more how they should be than the stagea front end. hmmmm to win lotto
  2. ill be in for that if it is sunday the 6th, as we fly in saturday some time. but then on top of that id need someone who wants to take us (me wife and son) in the car with them i dont think we will have a car for the couple of days we will be there
  3. placing bars across it will alter the acoustics also. plus you will find with all your stuff in there it will change again. once the car is loaded the echo will change again you may find that facing forward will have a different sound than it does now.
  4. i know this might seem like a high cost solution to your problem, but did you think of just turning the box around so it faces the front
  5. with ever increaseing range of flat subs you should be able to purchase a good sounding sub that wont take up much room. these go fairly well http://kicker.com/compvt_subboxes <--- you can get them pre boxed in 8" 10" and 12" or you can get the subs on there own in the same sizes as well as a 6.5 inch which would need a custom box, or you could mount it in the rear speaker slots. pioneers version also goes well. http://www.pioneer.com.au/en/Products/Car%...Subwoofers.aspx (scroll down they are there, however i couldnt be botehred to find pre boxed versions but they do exist) these are from a 8' to 12" only as far as i know. i beleive a few other brands have had a go, but these are the only 2 i have actually heard and seen playing. so if you like your boot space, these are the way to go.
  6. for this dont just look in the cavity. look under the car between the fuel take and the rear of the car, that is where mine is starting to rust, and its only noticeable from the underside of the car.
  7. hmmmmm stumbled across this not sure where they are located but has standard (non slotted) front and rear rotors for a stagea series 1 it has them both listed as $200.39 and im assuming for a pair. stagea rotors
  8. joint bank account, she will notice a missing 340 bucks lol. ill talk to her tonight and see what she says, but it will be 3 weeks before i can give you the money anyway. i have to give dan 150 next week
  9. its the boost controller i want, but i would still need to convince the wife if it gets sold it gets sold, and ill just wait longer and get the apexi avcr in black
  10. pity have budgeted all the money out on things for at least the next pay, hopefully you will still ahve what i want then
  11. i know this might seem a bit strange but what are the colour of the factory springs on series 1 rs4? i ask this as when i was under the car the other day the rears were green and the front were black.
  12. Any closer to having series 1 pads done front and rear?
  13. sweet as thanks for that info mate, now i just need to get the money
  14. ha ha yeah i figure that, what i mean is if i have to spend the money buying new pads i might be better off buying the full brake upgrade but if i need new pads in the very near future then ill probably just buy pads to get me through the next 12 month use. if i need them in like 6 months time i might go the bigger brakes. hmmmmmm where to find a quick 5k to do things to my car oh and i assume that my autech wheels would clear the GTST brakes if they fit the GTR items.
  15. so you can use the R33 GTST brakes on the front basically straight bolt on (apart from the bolt, the lines and cutting of the dust cover) anyone currently got these on there stagea? i dont want to send the money getting some only to find out they wont fit. i have a feeling my brake pads are almost worn, so im considering doing an upgrade, while i have to do the brakes anyway.
  16. yeah thats the one, as long as it is from the drivers side. im getting a cargo blind so if that is where it clips to ill be needing it. no proplem with the cost should still have your details, ill PM you my PO box to send it to once i have paid for it.
  17. ok so just to make sure im on the right track. i have a series 1 Stagea. i can either bolt straight on R33 GTR front brakes and R33 gtst rear brakes or R34 GTT front and rear? (yes i know the brake lines would need altering and that the dust pan more than likely needs trimming) are these direct bolt on or do they require brackets ? i havent checked my brake pads yet but if they need replacing then it might be worth doing the whole lot in one go. ******edit***** ok i just read early in the thread you can use R33 GTST front brakes is this correct? this would just require a full set of callipers and rotors (obviously lines and dust covers as above) if so i might look at R33 gtst callipers and possibley slotted rotors and brake pads front and rear.
  18. hey do you have the drivers side cargo blind hook (well im assuming its the cargo blind hooK) its the part on the back piller that has a little hook where i think you connect the cargo blind to when extending it. mine is busted if you need me to send a pick i can. cheers damo
  19. if someone is willing to pay for my fuel and accomodation ill come, just ummmmmmmm id need to drive to and from Darwin so ill need about 5k
  20. dammm so jealous, wish i could attend a cruise like this..................... maybe one day ill be able to.
  21. Hi im chasing a cargo blind, in good working order, if anyone has a spare or one they would like to part with please PM me a price. Cheers Damo
  22. yeah i got a couple of photos in there somethign lke the second last post. i havent touched mine but at some stage i plan on changing at least my front bar. but yeah mine is basically stock apart from the GTR FMIC. oh and our wheels a simular, but mine are autech rims. when i get some time ill PM you some pics. hmmmmmm just need to give it a good polish.
