I guess everyone has their own thoughts on tyre pressure, but personally, I don't think lower pressure on street tyres will make much of a difference.. but of course, there's so many different tyres, and every one runs different rim width and diameter sizes so who knows..... what's good pressure for someone, may prove to be slower for others. I first run (out of 8) gave me my second quickest time. This was on standard tyre press of 34psi, and I'm pretty sure that my quickest time was only better because I was starting to get the launches down pat. I won't bother lowering pressure next time. my 2c.

Well done Hicks.. not a bad effort at all.. gotta be pretty happy. Adam.. you can try again when you get the car sorted out. If you don't burn it between now and then. Just have faith. and Macka, bloody Macka.. just when I thought I had ya beat. Well done old boy, 12.98 is somethin to be proud of...especially seeing as you raced the whole night without blowin anything up. Well I'm pretty stoked with my 13.10 ... the little Sr was screamin it's head off all the way down the quarter. Time for some real mods.. please God, gimme 12's .

Rhino.. Sorry, but i find it VERY hard to believe that a 300 with only boost and zaust can pull a 13.1. The TT models were quoted in Japan as 1580 kilos, pulling 14.5's in stock trim on 104 octane local fuel. There's a big step from there to 13.1 Maybe your mate has a little more under the bonnet than he lets on.

Summoner.. i actually went to Myaree cause it was the only one that i could book at an hours notice, was cheap (50 bucks for three runs).. and he printed the A/F ratio on the dyno sheet, so i could see that i wasn't leaning out too much in the top end. I needed to know the a/f before i took it down to the Plex that night and thrashed the hell out of it. but.... that said, to anyone who didn't know better, it does bring a smile to ya face.

Micko.. I went to PSI with macka when he had his Line on the dyno.. Sounded like he knew what he was doing.. but boy.. we've all heard quite a few bad stories about PSI. that said- what ever the majority votes.. i'll be happy with.

Firstly... Adam.. if you DO beat me, and we've all see how you drive..ha ha then i'll just have to key your car up. ! Rev210... lol I almost forgot about that.. we got chewed out by that cop good and proper huh.. well we were doing just a tad over the limit. Radium.. At Myaree my little Silvia pulled 252 RWHP on 15 psi, t28, fmic and full 3" zaust. I'm thinking the reading is a bit high, as a month or two earlier, same mods except 14 psi, i got 219 at Fuel Inj Services, in Belmont. who knows..? I only went to Myaree cause i wanted a print out with an a/r ratio printed on it Fuel Inj Serv couldn't do it..

Got illegal tint done recently. $220 all up. They quoted only $50 to rip it all off if it gets a canary, though i doubt it will. Looks sh*t hot. It's called black panther. Ring Sun Pro in Mirrabooka.

while we're all on the subject of S-AFC's.... does anyone know what a decent choice is for an S13 sr20det.? I don't want to use a full ecu replacement like a microtech/haltech etc.. so I'm looking at either a piggy back unichip, a S-AFC or getting my ecu re programmed. what ever I choose, I want it to be tunable for a larger AFM like a z32 unit. any suggestions.? thanks.

Well I was just going on something I got told. Thats what you get for believing people. It's also an article in one of the fast fours mags. Has something in it about being passed in UK parliament as we speak.. I wouldn't mind seeing that vid though. Got anywhere to put it.?

Speed cameras...now here's a subject that sh*ts me to f*ing tears. Do you know.... speed cameras in the UK are now being placed ONLY on black spots (2 or more road fatallities), they are painted bright yellow and visible from 60-80 metres. They are never placed on open multi lane roads where people can safely drive at 10 k's over limit.(unlike here) The money raised by them, go back to road safety and driver training programms. The UK gov claim that it is doing more to realistically address road deaths and the community is behind them because it is not seen as blatant revenue raising. the W.A. state gov on the other hand, recieve ALL the money from cameras, place it in a combined revenue account, of which only a token gesture is returned to road saefty. The majority is for re allocation as the state sees fit. Unfortunately, they don't deem it neccessary, to use the money to put more cops on the road to catch habitual idiot and repetative drunk drivers, or spend the money on road repair and driver training.. See that would require initiative, something the sate gov obviously lacks. It is much much easier, to lower the speed limit, increase fines and demirts and place more cameras and say, "see we care, we're trying to stop accidents and fatalities" when in all reality the only significant change is that they're raking in even more money. Now, maybe i'm just jaded, but more revenue raised from apparently trying to improve road safety ??? Someone convince me that this is just an unnexpected bi product, not just the sole intended purpose....! Hidden camera's now... where does it stop. I could bitch all day, but whats the point. God bless the bloke who nicked it, and I hope it gives the courage to others to do the same.

Adam 32.. your mate with the 180sx running 13.4 ? what sort of mods does he have.? I've got the fmic, t28, zaust and pod and running 1 bar for now, apart from the couple of extra pounds, does he have anything i don't..? I'd be stoked to think I could get close to that sort of time.. cheers

Me and my S13 will try to get there for a squirt.. might even be able to give a few of you skyline boys a decent run this time. (shakes head remembering the dismal last effort) This time FMIC, T28 and a sh*t load of boost will either... get me a nice time in the mid 13's or.. or a rather impressive total melt down fingers crossed.

Hey guys.. anyone know of a place in Perth to get a decent dump pipe fabricated..? also, anyone know what the optimal size would be.. if seen ppl with everything from 2 1/2 up to 4" it's for a S13 sr20det.. cheers.. 8)
