  1. Have you tried cleaning the MAF?
  2. I have heard you need to use sealant for copper gaskets. I doubt there is much negative effect of a thicker gasket, HKS, Tomei, etc. all sell thicker gaskets. They are the only ones I see being used on high horsepower cars.
  3. Let's say a timing belt broke and let the valves run astray, how deep do the valves extend into the cylinder? Would a thicker headgasket solve this or is there no chance for recovery?

  6. And searching usually only comes up with what parts I need, not where to get them. People magically leave that information out of their posts. Happens all the time in my Subaru forums.
  7. When I say high-mileage, I mean high-mileage, 150000miles. Compression test was fine and everything looked nice once I got the head off. I have 6 top-feed, high-impedence RX7 550cc injectors, 300ZX TT fuel pump, 300ZX N/A 6-puck race clutch. Stock ECU and uncut wiring harness(i.e. front clip). Bi-intake setup with the stock MAF, this will accomodate the double-sized injectors. FMIC is to be determined as I don't know what model 240 I want to drop the engine into. Turbo will be a T3/T04E 50-trim with internal wastegate. Tubular exhaust manifold Jet-Hot coated. 3" straight exhaust, no muffler. For fine tuning of the fuel, I will use a little pot. mod, found here. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/article.html?&A=0008 This will get the car running with moderate boost. A PowerFC, or something similar, will be employed once I crank it up.

  9. First post here, hope it works for me. I am rebuilding a high-mileage RB20DET in hopes of >350whp, so I need a few parts to be on the safe side. I already ordered head studs and 1.5mm copper headgasket with sealant. Water pump Thermostat Fuel filter Intake and exhaust manifold gaskets Where can I source these parts? They are rather hard to come by in the US. Would any other parts be beneficial? Thanks.
