  1. Psych test. If the results match those of a reckless driver, then a power limit is placed on them (rather than age). They could do it when they do their written test.
  2. Dunno, but here's the weights: R32 GTSt 1280 kg R32 GTS4 1480 kg
  3. Who can import you a 350z? Nissan of Australia can. In fact, they already have a couple they brought in earlier! Just head down to your local Nissan dealership and ask for one.
  4. The difference between the R34 GTS-T and the R34 GT-T is that: The R34 GT-T actually exists. People can put incorrect badges on their car if they want to, like a GTR badge on a GTS-T. Or have no badge at all (someone stole my GTR badge). R32 GTS-T = R33 GTS-T = R34 GT-T R32 GTR = R33 GTR = R34 GTR
  5. GTS4 has the GTR-like 4wd system. 4wd is to prevent loss of traction, so you're defeating yourself if you want to drift. So GTS-T is the way to go. :ufo: Plus the GTS4 is heavier because it has the 4wd system, not FR.
  6. Can anyone explain how the "on-demand" turbo boost works then? Coz on our cars boost is driven by RPM.
  7. I'm looking to have a friend do the rebuild, meaning it will be in their spare time, meaning it'll be more than 2 weeks. Is it just a matter of dropping the RB20 in?
  8. OK, I've decided to rebuild the RB26DETT. In the meantime though, I'd like to be able to drive the car. Is there much stuffing around in dropping an RB20DET into a BNR32?
  9. I'd nominate two considerations: 1. Find someone you trust to examine the cars. I'm importing through Prestigemotorsport and Geoff has warned me off several cars that pop up at auction because they're dodge. 2. Look for the auction grade. If it's a grade 4 then it's pretty good all-round. If you see the auction sheet and there's xxxx everywhere then you're rolling the dice.
  10. Hi all, A grab bag of questions for you. I did a search but would like a more specific answer. 1. I've checked JustJap and they price an RB26 for $6,500.00+ 1.a. Is this a fair price? 2. What specific workshops in Brisbane can do a stock rebuild of an RB26? 3. How does the price of a stock rebuild compare to grabbing an engine from say JustJap? 4. If you have a BNR32 chassis and you put in an RB26 from a BNR33 or BNR34, is this now considered a "modified" vehicle for insurance purposes, all other things being equal? Or is it not considered "modified" because it's still an RB26? Thanks for your advice.

  12. And as your signature says, your R32 GTR was Australian delivered - so "technically" it isn't an import right?
