  1. Isn't that an Excel wing?
  2. My R32 GTR has had a Nismo 320Km/h speedo fitted. And it's definately out by a few Ks. Can people with stock R32 GTRs tell me how many RPM they have at the following speeds and gears? 60 KM/h, 3rd gear 60 KM/h, 4th gear 100 KM/h, 4th gear 100 KM/h, 5th gear
  3. (If they try to sue) Nah mate, we were never in the area, we were all at a friend's house playing poker.
  4. OK so make sure you don't get a Mongoose is the moral of the story
  5. It's raining in Brissy today, ATTESSA got me through some wet patches nicely.
  6. 3k-5k is a lot of money. But 3k-5k is not a lot of money to spend on a paint job. Yeah, if you're going to be tight about it, don't bother with the respray, just get the panels done that need it. When I had a Silvia I had it resprayed for $1600, but they used acrylic paint and didn't clear coat, so you get what you pay for.
  7. She likes it doggy style.
  8. Got it off a "skyline book"
  9. The climate control has a feature that isn't documented in the R32 owner's manual. With the fan on, temperature set at 18 (the lowest it will go), press and hold the temperature down button for a couple of seconds. The climate control will show "FC", the air conditioning will come on in re-circulated mode. This must be a fast cool, as it sets the optimum setting for cooling the car quickly. The re-circulation mode can be turned off. There is a "FH" mode also with the temperature set at 32 (the highest temperature). Press and hold the temperature up button to enter the FH (fast heat?) mode.
  10. I guess what you can do is get a twin-plate clutch then clutch dump whenever you want to avoid the bottom end lag.
  11. http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/ For $2900 with old tyres
  12. Remember, until you're on boost, a GTR is still only a 2.6L car. Then in turns into a BEAST!!! 3500rpm to 8000rpm is where it's mean to be driven. Of course you don't get to use that range on city streets.
  13. Shyeah. If you're not using half a tank of petrol a day you're driving like a granny!
  14. Looks like a nice car, but I don't think you'll get $22000, because it's a 4 door and most people go for the coupe, plus it's series 1 and series 2 go for more Probably $18000. The dealer's given you a low valuation because he wants to make his margin. So if a dealer is going to give you $15000 you know it's worth at least $3000 more than what he'll pay because he'll go and sell it for $23000.
  15. Ok this is good info. Where do I get a torque splitter and how much?
  16. He hasn't indicated what year the car was built in. Here, the S15 is on the SEVS list which means you CAN import it if it was built: 007/00 MA Nissan Silvia S15 12/1998 08/2000 Between December 1998 and August 2000. Make sense?
  17. ATTESSA can distribute from 0-50% of power to the front wheels, so could the distribution be set to 30/70?
  18. Can it be done?
  19. Buying from NZ is the same as buying from Japan. The import laws don't change just because it's from another country, and the import laws don't have "Japan" written into them. The main thing to check is that the vehicle has no accident damage (it will have to be complied under SEVS), and that the vehicle was not manufactured in the years that it was locally delivered to Australia (e.g. 2000-2002 S15s can't be registered in Australia because they were sold here).
  20. They look like my mats, with the red highlights around the lettering. R32 GTR 1989
  21. Hi all, I've only seen pictures of R33 GTR's with the Series I look (i.e super rounded with round bonnet etc.) Does the Series II have a different look or is there no Series II R33 GTR?
  22. Hi all, I did a search and a lot of reading, and it's clear that to adjust the idle on my engine I need to find the ACC screw. However, I must be blind or really dumb because I can't see the screw in spite of the descriptions given. Can someone please take a photo of their R32 GTR and point out where the screw is? Thanks
  23. Buying a car full stop doesn't make fiscal sense. But like me, there are people that took out a loan because they wanted their Skyline because they didn't want to have five years of their life pass by before they got it. Getting a loan can be the difference between getting a GTST and dreaming about a GTR, or just going for it.
  24. you can almost get an R34 for 25K
  25. The closest we get are the: Maxima 350Z Which both have the VQ35DE
