  1. Hi Guys Don't know if anyone is around from 5+ years ago but I used to do a lot of those John Bowe track days with you guys in my IS200 back when Kim/Ultra_Supra was organising them. In the last year I've CAMS'ed up the supra club and we're doing a track day on the 14th of next month. It's a fairly relaxed affair with 4 groups with a max of 8 cars. Perfect for beginners through to full dedicated track junkies. Mallala has put up their fee recently so it's not as cheap as it used to be sadly. Still they're a great day, should have a minimum of 7x15 minute sessions so that is plenty of track time. If you've got any questions feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll keep an eye on this thread, full details are in a thread on our forums at http://www.sasupra.com/trackday Hope to see you out there!
  2. One time bedding in brakes down the lonsdale highway I went from 100 to 40 pretty hard, looked up and there was a cop car in the bushes dead ahead of me, went past and got a couple of flashes a few seconds apart and absolutely shat myself, to this day no fine (about a year) so probably was just a cop giving you a warning. The newer ones that you see on the camrys with the long black bar take an IR photo and do not flash. Sorry for the (slight) necro but thought it important to clear up that they can now take flashless photos. And here's a scary one that exists but luckily not in Australia yet!
  3. You hit the nail right on the head, although you also have to take into consideration the eyebrow height which is different on each vehicle and there is also a requirement for a bump stop. Here's the quote exactly from transport SA. http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/pdfs/personal_transport/light_vehicles_pdfs/MR1136_Requirements_for_Lowering_or_Raising_Vehicle_Ride_Height.PDF
  4. Are we cruising up as a group or just meeting there at 8? I know in the past you boys have enjoyed a traditional vilis breakfast before the journey up
  5. Alrighty mine should have been all paid up a bit ago so hopefully you guys got it. What kind of lap timers do you use? I have one that i'm borrowing at the moment that hopefully I'll still have for the event, just wondering if they will use the same base stations
  6. Just got confirmation from the boss man, it's all clear to go, so happy to pay when you say jump
  7. Hey fellas, I should be in for this, just double checking with the boss if I can get the day off. Assuming I can get the day off and there's a spot open I have the full amount here waiting to go
  8. Only a few more on the camera which i'll download later, no offence but my eyes weren't on the skylines Also have a few pics of the August 2A track day, want me to whack them up somewhere?
  9. Hey guys, heres a few pics i took on the day, still trying to get the videos downloaded, having a few camera issues. Enjoy
