  1. Hello Stagea owners, I have been meaning to ask this for a little while now. I have a series 1 (1997) RS4 and the handbrake(footbrake?) light on the dash is on almost all the time. I didn't get a owners manual when I bought my car so I was wondering if this was a warning light to let me know I need to replace the pads, or is it more likely to just be a wiring fault? cheers Brett.
  2. http://ozfoz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&...amp;start=14470 Check out this link. Its to a page of the Forester forum im on, and a few posts down there is a couple of interesting pics. Cheers Brett
  3. Here's mine. S1 rs4. But you knew that. and the bonnet after some basic polishing. Not bad for a 13 year old car that's probably never really been looked after.
  4. haha nah definately not using diesel. Im not that noob. Im using either BP ultimate or Caltex Vortex98 and I havent been able to get either to find "the sweet spot". I was turning and adjusting the nozzle in every concieveable direction yesterday and just couldnt get it to flow steadily. As far as I know Im the 3rd Aussie owner so its not freshly imported. Thanks for the help though. I guess I'll just keep fiddling with the nozzle. Cheers Brett.
  5. Hi Stagea folk, Im new to the forum, well posting anyway. I picked up a 97 Stagea RS4 late last year and am loving every minute of it. Well except filling it with fuel. Whats the deal with the filler opening? It seems too narrow for the pump nozzles. When i fill up I cant simply squeeze the trigger and fill it up at full flow. After spending nearly 10 minutes yesterday and giving up at 40 litres I thought I might ask some questions. Im putting this down to one of the quirks you have to live with when driving an import, but is there anything that can be done to remedy the situation? Or does everyone simply deal with it? Cheers Brett. ps I did try the search button with numerous combinations but got no where. Hopefully this thread might help other newbies in the future.
  6. So has anyone done an aftermarket smic set up? Is there such a thing?
  7. what is insurance like on the Stagea's? Might be another consideration.
  8. Hi, My names Brett and Ive been considering a Stagea for my new car. Why? I need a wagon foremost. I need something safe for the family, but I dont want to compromise on some performance either. I also have to admit to loving the boxy styling of the Stagea. Ive had a look through the buyers guide to Stageas on the forum, but id like to know a few more specific things. Oh yeah, Im located in Perth. Cheers Brett
