Hey guys, need help installing complete system installation. Head unit (single deck with din pocket below) front speakers (straight swap) rear speakers (some cutting maybe required as it's not a straight swap) subby and amp in boot (basic install) if any of u guys can help and when (hoping before NYs) and how much ud like pls post or pm.. Knox area (I can come to you) .. Been quoted $300 looking for something cheaper round the $200 mark.. I've looked through the audio thread and couldn't find help. Cheers!

Hey guys, notices that there may be a problem with my car, hope u guys can point me to the right direction.. Was driving and noticed that when I reach a certain RPM level (usually 2500RPM) it feels like the car is losing power and acceleration above that level becomes impossible and feels like it's restricted to that point and it feels like the car will die while it shakes! This problem only happens after 10 minutes of driving.. Have to pull over and turn engine off and start again to get rid off the issue, but then the same thing happens again.. Could someone please tell me if they've experienced the same problem and what would be the target area to inspect? Thanks in advance guys! Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi thx for the reply, it comes up after 30 minutes regardless of speed. Haven't had a look, don't know where to look as I just got the car 3 days ago, wouldn't know where to look, and I don't really wanna take to mechanics just incase it's nothing and they'll overcharge .. Anyway hopefully u or someone mite know why it's doing that.. Cheers

Hey guys,can someone please help me with my question.. After 30 minutes of driving the HICAS light below my speedometer lights up. Should I be worried? Cheers.. Any help would be great!

Hey guys, just bought an R33 GTST, now 2 questions that I really should know the answer to but I don't, anyway.. AFTER driving for 30 minutes, there's a light below my speedometer (HICAS) I was just wandering if I should be worried because I don't know what it is.. Can someone pleaseeee tell me what that is? And also when I bought the car it comes with a turbo timer and turbo controller (hks) and everytime I boost it to around 5/6 it makes multiple beeping noise, should I be worried? I'm worried that the engine would blow or something.. Sorry bout the noob questions guys, it's my first turbo.. Please help!

Wow this is actually an interesting pole as some had more expensive cars previous to the skyline and end up having a skyline as the current ride, while some work their way up to the skyline and some 27year old "kid" having a GTR as a first car.. Hmm anyway here's my list 1st 89 prelude (spent sh!tloads doin it up) eye candy! 2nd 2003 Alfa Romeo spyder convertible (loved it and then sold it due to income decrease) 3rd 2003 Lancer (meh) 4th and current 1994 R33 GTST (weeeeee!!!) all manual except for first! Sounds like it'll be fun! But anyway thought I'd put this up too, after I posted this I decided to read other threads, and looked like it's quite important where u buy the car from.. What do u guys think about the deal that I got : $7500 1994 R33 GTS-T with minor mods listed earlier and 104,000 kms. No service history and was bought from hyon allparts on Sydney rd campbelfield. Now that I thought about it I probably shoulda been more careful before buying it like getting tests done and bring a non-bias mechanic over to check it out.. Hmm hopefully no major probz with it.. Anyway thanks for all the replies so far too!

Hey guys! Glad to finally be apart of SAU ! I've always wanted a skyline since I was 18, well 5 years later finally got myself an R33 GTS25T . I must say it's awesome!! The car did come with minor mods such as after market airfilter, turbo timer, digital boost controller, short shifter, turboback exhaust and body kit. Now, I don't know about turbos that much as this is my first turbo.. So is there any sites I can visit or can anyone just give me a brief info on some basic things? Any suggestions Would be great. Can someone please explain to me how the boost works too? And I keep reading posts with people mentioning 'holding to the red line' what does that mean? As u guys can tell by now, I don't really know much about it and probably shouldve done some research on it.. So if u guys can answer some of my questions or give me any advice on anything I should know pleaseeee do , cuz anything helps at this point.. Cheers!! Happy holidays!
