Couple of nice cars there. Saw Eiji while there too.
-
I am about to head to this now.
-
Thanks mate.
-
Yeah I will be there too Rob.
-
Shop I think! LOL
-
Not sure Mik. Tutorials were saying that the discs could be fused to the hubs etc.

So after Richard kindly lending me his trolley jack and just finishing reading a couple tutorials I have officially chickened out of doing my own brakes!
It seems there can be issues getting things on and off due to age etc. and I am not very well equipped here to deal with anything unforeseen that comes up.
Looks like its off to the shop for me. : ( LOL

Yeah, Richard, I definitely prefer your car with the standard trim rather than black bonnet and wing etc. Looks a ton better mate.

I have the same wheels in 18" on my car (R33 GTR). But I don't like the big wheel look. I wouldn't go over 18's.

Cheers guys.
And Richard....I see what you did there. Hahaha!

Thanks for all the advice and offers of help....which I may take you up on!
I ordered the parts today and they should be here on Thursday. Was thinking of doing it on the weekend but not sure.
My other concern is only having the normal car jack. Is this going to present any issues?

Dont think you can tune a stock ecu. Adjust boost and spin the CAS is about it.

All,
Looking for a pair of stock R33 or R34 GTR turbos that have been rebuilt with steel wheels.
I am looking to spend $750 max including delivery to ACT.
Have cash ready to go now.
PM me please.
Cheers,
Eric

I'll be going.

Spotted a black R33 GTR ( I think) with gold wheels at about 1730 on Athllon in Tuggeranong.

Yep my understanding is the child restraints need to be in there before the car can be complied.
I am not sure that all those cars that had child restraints installed for compliance now need to get an engineers certficate. Is that what you are saying?
I would have thought the fact the car was complied proves.....well...compliance?
-
Cheers guys.

Ok cool. Think I will have a crack!
-
Hmmmm...Considering giving this a go.
Any specialised tools required?
-
I guess my concern would be making sure to bleed the brakes properly.
-
How hard is it to change brake rotors and pads?
-
I think I have said this before bit Driver Education is part of the US school carriculum. Or at least used to be.
I think that is a great idea. Will never happen here though.

Unfortunately I couldnt get close enough to see the numbers. My 3 year old was freaking out over the noise up close.
I did see a Ford GT 350 make 217kw.
