Hi All, I have been checking the web for a solution to keep a neighbours cat off my V. I have not caught him in the act so don't know if 1 scare is enough. I've read that Pepper/Mothballs/Coyote Urine and few other products do the job with mixed results. Also I have had a look at some of electronic solutions but would rather keep this cheap. My Car is under a car port and I live in a row of units. Tomorrow I will probably try hanging some moth balls over the hood of the car as thats what the moggie wants to be warm and cozy while leaving mud scratches. I am not a cat fan ! If anyone has had any experience please share ? Please don't post if your reply is about shooting or trapping the cat. I just want the cat to stay away from my V !

Hi all, Can someeone please inform me if eyelids and bumpers that fit coupes fit sedans aswell? Also does anyone recommend any type of eyelids? Once you put them on are they on for good? Anybody local stock eyelids locally? Thanks

If you would like to display GPS or anything off your iPhone to an external screen, Please have a look at my earlier post. If you are willing to jailbreak/hack your iPhone you can display anything of your iPhone. Let me know if anyone needs any help, I'm quite the iPhone & Wii hacker. ( Wish I was better at Car Audio Installation )

If you would like to display anything off your iphone onto an external screen and don't mind jailbreaking/hacking your iphone which allows you to install 3rd party apps. Then "ScreenSplitr" is the app for you this will clone the iphone screen exactly and will display on any external screen. I like the look of the Spec-dock but was concerned that I needed to lay my iPhone to the side to allow the Nav/Video/Ipod to be displayed in Landscape mode, then I found the app "Rotation Inhibitor" which would set the display to landscape no matter what angle the iPhone is in. Also those who do not like the GPS lag in the iPhone can use an external bluetooth GPS and use the app "RoqyGPS". I have not fully tested this just waiting to get on top of a few bills, but will surely post once done, Hope it helps somebody? Using the PA11-NSI ? please explain I thought these were used for Steering Wheel Switch Controls not for connecting the iPhone to the OEM Screen ?

Nothing wrong with a sleeper , As I am coming off a driving suspension thanks to my Black R33 GTS-T and to make matters worse I am Black also, I kinda love that my V35 Sedan sort of resembles a Maxima, In the V35 Sedans defense I can state that the V35 looks WAY BETTER than the Maxima , It astounds me why the V35 is not stocked locally but the Maxima is ? Back to the point , I love me sleeper specially when I blow past some over modified Ford/Holden/Soarer etc.

Great ! Same setup I'm wanting to do, Can you let me know how your answering phone calls ? eg. Bluetooth Handsfree kit and is sound transmitted through the car speakers ? Hows the GPS lag ? Bearable ? There are external Blueooth GPS Receivers that work with the iPhone but would stop your ability for a bluetooth kit.

Hi, Has anyone experienced their VDC turning off while driving ? This has happened a couple of times to me and will come back on when I stop and restart the car. Flicking VDC switch doesn't turn it back on while driving. On the way home tonight it happened again this time showing me the handbrake light aswell, the handbrake was not down, after about 20 min the handbrake light went but VDC remained off, I could tell by the way the car handled and the old yellow 'slip light' never came on. But after I stopped at the servo, VDC came back on and the old slip light was back. I would really like to know whats going on but don't know who to ask, I have a hunch that it something to do with some kind of sensor problem.

How do I know if I have 1 of these lines in ?

Hi, Has anyone had a play with an iPhone and an external GPS unit ? There is an App out called RoqyGPS that allows you to use an External GPS unit via bluetooth for all the navigation apps that iPhone currently have like Tom Tom and Navigon. An external GPS which you can pickup for around $50 on ebay is alot better than the current GPS unit/chip inside the iPhone, reviews state there is no lag and one user even compared it to there stand alone Tom Tom GPS unit and said they worked identically, Also you can use these on older 2G iPhone that do not come with GPS. Ideally I would love to run the iPhone through to the OEM screen through the leads C Rogers can supply plus another App that is out (Screen Splitr) but the problem I am running into is how to answer calls while the iPhone is sending AV output through to the OEM screen I cannot use a portable bluetooth handsfree kit as the iPhones bluetooth is being used for External Bluetooth GPS. There is a Non-Bluetooth GPS Receiver for the iPhone that I have seen called the GPS360 that plugs into the dock/bottom of the iPhone but this would not allow the plug for the AV output to be plugged into the iPhone. I am not worried about touching the iPhone to answer calls or enter addresses and am waiting for a reply from Chris to see if when you answer the iPhone while AV is being outputted will you hear the call through the Cars Speakers... So I have also looked into an external mic for the iPhone which will work in this case but the problem here is all the info I read about external mics is that audio is transmitted to the headphone jack as the iPhone thinks headphones are plugged in. If anyone has overcome this problem (not with a complete standalone GPS unit, I want to use the OEM Screen ) , Or has any other ideas. Please post I am pretty much googled.

Would this allow me to view a Navigation App on the OEM screen aswell as allow me to view videos and album information. ie:- replicate whats showing on the iPhone screen onto the OEM Screen ? Is there much lag if any ? Is this a plug & play type of job that I maybe to pull off or should I obtain services from you or Rob B ? Sorry one more, Do you provide the dock or must I source 1 ? If so are there remotes available or must we control the iPhone/OEM Screen through the iPhone ? Dammit another one, Is it possible to view a Nav App and listen to music at the same time, either through the iPhone or through the Head Unit ? If you might remember my cd stacker died and I was 1st thinking about the Pioneer Avic 900 ( Great Unit ) , but at the end of the day I will only be using the Nav and all of my music will be coming off the iPhone , so this seems like a great idea and I won't have to wait aslong to get it, What do you think ?
