no i dont but it came out of a rb33 gtst skyline with same mods as me ( fmic , better air intake, exhaust etc ) so it should still start and run.

There is a fair bit of support for the power mod system and it is the same distance away from were i live to power mod or nistune tuners. I am a sparky by trade and have some knowledge of how wiring should be done so i would rather just give it another go.

well installed the unit today. hmmmm... Car 1 me 0 installed it all and wont fire. ( i did use spade terminals and splicing connectors ) so will be firing up the soldering iron on the week end and have another go at it. Hopefully it was just a splice connection that was not making contact.

I have that book too. It no different instructions from r33 series what so ever, only difference is if it a r33 or r34 thats why the kit comes with both sets of mounting brackets.

HI all after hours apoun hours of research and pulling the ecu apart the item is a early version powermod piggy back system. After speaking to powermood.com.au i found there service to be excellent with them even sending me the wiring diagram and fitting instructions to the rb25det. well done to them it hard to find this level of help in an item bought off ebay in which they have no responsiblty for what so ever.

I bought a blitz cs kit and even though i not the most mechanicly minded i still could fit it. I did have to take a fair bit off the stock bumper as you could see. ( better than chopping your chasis though )

It was supposedly in a rb33 gtst and was a piggyback ecu. It is 2nd hand and it did come from a decent dealer in australia.

hi all bought a s/steel dump pipe by monster performanve and have removed the original pipe. Between the turbo and dump i found a copper gasket and between the dump and front pipe i found no gasket at all. Any ideas??? i'm having a mongrel of a time lining up the dump pipe to the front pipe ( although its hard trying to hold a torch and line up 3 holes and also put the threads in )

HI all i need a blitz intercooler that connects to existing pipework as i dont want to do any mods. my car is a r33 gtst 97 model. i live about 2.5 hours north west of brisbane so freight is a must ( Followmount Transport ) Looking for one in good condition. I am after 2nd hand as i am on a budget.

I agree everyone makes mistakes just remember if you have a big night Don't drive the next day!!!. I got told that depending on what sentence you get depends how long you are on your P plates for.

what i was wondering was were they a good unit?/specs etc i am looking at upgrading to a different exhaust but i always like to know a little about what i already have.

Good afternoon, I bought a r33 gtst about 3 weeks ago and the muffler on the back is a nismo/calsonic B0100-21U25. I have done a quick search on the net but have not found much info about them. Does any one here know any thing about them?

Ok I know that the boost controller goes in lew of the T piece. But the solenoid becomes obsolete. ( removed ) What is the vac line on the top of the solenoid do? ( the one that get plugged up) I can understand about the restrictor but if we just removed it wouldn't we get a higher boost with the right calculations on restrictions and a heavier waste gate spring? Than we could keep the existing solenoid with higher boost applications Dont get too annoyed I jus wanna learn!

Hi there can anyone tell me how a boost solenoid on a gtst 97 skyline holds the boost low ( 5 psi ) untill 4500rpm than allows it to go to 7 psi. I know that the solenoid closes and grounds it but what allows it decide what boost it has? If you replace the boost solenoid with a turbo tech controller you can get what ever boost u decide ( untill r & r kicks in ) I was just wondering if there is some restiction in the vac line or something like that to hold it at 5 and 7 psi. would the factory waste gate have something to do with it? Sorry to waste peoples time if this an easy one. Cheers all

Just wondering is there any other things i can do. I just wondering as i dont know much about these cars. I was thinking of putting a hi flow air filter ( k an N maybe unless u recommend a better one ) I got told to change the dump pipe for better boast but i am unsure what that is and if it does help. If after u do a few mods can u just get your computer reprogrammed or can u just put a piggyback chip in instaed of a after market computer?

Hi all, I have just bought a gts/t series 2 1997 skyline automatic and am wondering what can i do to give it some more go. It already has a nismo sports pipe on the back and sounds great. also i just installed a turbo timer to give it some care and attention. I am not after extreme mods but would like to maybe run a bit more boost and better air intake and maybe some type of chip????? any help would be great thank you
