quick question if i replace the pistons ,rings and bearings in the motor and valve springs etc what oil should i use after run in the reason i ask is i notice that people talk about older rb's etc with bigger tolerences and things and use a different type of oil eg. 5-60 grade i was planning on using a 10-40 Ur help would be appreciated

The mod Stao did for me was on the exhaust housing on my ATR43G3 turbo

Thats a nice result Stao You will be pleased to know that my car was fired up last night as well even just running in car feels a heck of a lot more responsive and more torque. for the record i am not putting it on boost and will not rev it over 3000rpm for sometime. with that mod u did on my housing it feels like a totally different turbo

I used ebay usa and picked one up for about 660 brand new. I have found that its easier to change varibles eg. maf sensors, injector sizes etc than the power fc but my car is a gtst after all

could it be that u got series 1 coils instead of series 2 ? although car proberly wouldnt start

I think that u need to change guards, bonnet, bar and even the rio on the front Cause being skylines they dont fit each other..... I learned this after i bought a gtr carbon fibre bonnet and it not fitting U wanna buy it ? lol

By all means have a go at me if im wrong but on a stock turbo r33 25det isn't the turbo actuautor rated at 7 psi ( 5psi up till 3000rpm ??than solenoid grounds out and allows 7psi) .

why would u not ask ur boyfriend straight up? Wasn't he there when u bought the car ? If u dont know the diff between pinging and noisey lifters than take it to a mech that knows what they doing. ( sorry just venting i cranky at the misses ) seriously though did u give it an oil change or anything out of the norm. if u did it may be just not the best oil. what worries me if it is pinging it could stuff ur motor

hi all if anyone is interested for a swap let me know. I have a r33 series 2 white auto( motor getting rebulilt acl race series bearing etc, ross harmonic balancer, performance valve springs and retainers , 100 k kit, 2800 stallie, 600cc injectors, and emanage ult or pfc for r33 and z32 afm with atr43g3 turbo with blitz fmic and 3 inch kakimoto exhaust s/s. motor will be brand new and need tune and running in. i also have toshi chip and standard turbo and injectors should u want old set up. Now if anyone has r32 gtr and wants a trade let me know. i dont care if it needs a bit of work but please no time wasters . thanks all and have a great easter.

well i dont know if its the best but i do know that syn x 3000 and a oil filter will set u back under 34 bucks at supercheap right now.

One thing id like to know how long should i run it in? also how should the car be driven?

I have the wiring harness for the r33 and emanage so im guessing that it should be ok. I am just worried about driving the car once it is going again to the tuner since it would be a few hundred kilometers. ps i do like the auto and want it to get built up as soon as funds allow.

What do u mean by that i would of thought the emange be capable for that use. I do have a power fc but cant really use it unless i going to go a manual? I have removed the toshi chip as that was for the stock turbo. and only have the standard ecu with emanage with no adjustments made
