I have a r32 and need as rear parcel tray where the speclers go, not to fussed about condition as long as its not to bad and not cracked, id prfer pick up on this as its abit long and could get damaged during freight. Not sure about its 100k service i purchased it recently as i couldnt find a decent turbo car after selling my r32 so i bought this to run around in, i dont have that much to spend in regards to getting a r34, i can probably add max $4000 cash. It runs very quite from the motor with no ticking etc Id be happy with around $2500 ive got it up for $2600 It is manual aswell

I have a 1990 HH Mitsubishi galant gsr non turbo im looking at selling soon on ebay and carsales but before hand i am interested in a swap plus i can add cash on top, im looking for a performance car, has to be turbo. This is a great daily and very reliable Here are some info about it and what im after- 1990 mitsubishi galant 4g63 DOHC engine fwd 250,000K's Reconditioned engine with most gaskets and seals replace, its a very tidy claen engine bay All power options, all in perfect working condition Sunroof Central locking Air con works fine June 2011 rego New front tyres New battery 1month ago Full service done a few weeks ago with receipts New clutch put in a month ago, it didnt need one it was the thrust bearing gone but whole clutch was changed anyways with proof. Aftermarket intake with pod filter in box Clarion head unit with sony speakers Oil pressure guage which show oil pressure is spot on The downers are minor but ill mention it anyways - CV joints clicking sometimes only when on idle and turning Fuel gauge isnt accurate untill it hits just below half a tank then it reads normal Temp guage is also playing up, it doesnt over heat but just isnt accurate The roof has abit of fading but nothing major. Otherwise there isnt another thing wrong with the car, i dont bother as i only got the car as a get around and its been my first non turbo car in years Im after a turbo car so let me know whats out there, this deal would suit someone who is after a daily car I also dont want any damaged cars wether it be cosmetics or mechanically. I think we are on the right path, ive started to pay attention to the boost guage when it does this noise and it is before it hits zero psi, so off boost and when its cold is when the whistling noise comes on, and it does sound like a squealing noise aswell, would the hose to the waste gate not being on the tight cause a similar noise? It goes after warming up.

Mine runs great aswell but just wanted to get rid of the ticking

Anyone got anymore insight to this situation? I am thinking it is lifters but cant explain wether the lifters will make that whistling noise, i do get clicking whilst driving which does sound like from inside the engine

Sorry about the multiple posts, but in my previous cars ive done injector upgrades and have never heard noise from the injectors wether it be stock or the upgraded ones.

Also its a rb20det. I just re read my post and they do seem abit mumble jumble, mainly because its a strange noise which im very unfamiliar with. I originally thought it was a intake leak, as when i purchased the car it had a couple split intercooler piping hoses but changing them hasnt changed anything, ive also along the way found a fair few dissconnected hoses which ive either replaced or put back in, ive tryed the basics to eliminate the problem but so far no good.

Ive done close to 6 oil changes since i purchased it in july this year so its not old oil, i have 8100 motul in it at the moment. Also i do hear it from inside the cabin, so it is more than likely lifters? I do get various oil pressure readings when driving and idle. The whole reason is so i can get this ticking fixed as i doubt its doing any good for the car. The ticking is not around on idle only when driving, or under load I was actually doing this today and the ticks were gone for a split second then would come back slightly on idle but barely noticable whilst on idle This i never thought of but does make sense abit, as i stated in my first post id get a whistling type sound when the car hasnt warmed up, the noise would seem to come from the passenger side of the engine bay but when im under the hood on idle and put load on the throttle i cant seem to get that whistling noise to come through, instead i here the ticking coming from around where the injectors are. The r32 doesnt use any oil or blow smoke so i never thought it could be the turbo I wish i could explain exactly what the noise really is like but the best i can come up with is a weird whistling type sound, it almost sounds like a huge air deflection type noise as it would come through at high speeds through a small tube or similar

Hi i have a r32 which i bought with a ticking sound and the previous owner told me it was lifters and it will go away with the right oil, i have now tryed a few good oils latest being 8100 motul, i am now suspecting it might not be lifters and might be the injectors as he told me the car was well looked after and ive found hoses dissconnected, spark plugs in poor condition vacuum hoses still from when it was original, leaking coolant hoses etc so i cant really take his word for it being lifters. So would lifters and failing injectors make the same type of ticking sound? When the car is not completely warm and i drive off i get a kind of whistling noise at the same time as the intake suction noise then when its warmed up the cars sound and performs good. Any insight to this situation will be much appreciated Cheers

Hi do you have a front bar at all?

Hi all has anyone got a r32 front bar in grey/silver? It doesnt have to be in excellent condition as long as its not cracked everywhere. I would also prefer buying 2nd hand silicone reducers if anybody has, im after 2.5 to 3 inch reducer x 2 for intercooler piping, i know i can get them from the local auto store but i wanted to see if anybody had some lieing around they didnt need. Also after a K&N 3inch pod filter, i have the cleaning kit at home so would prefer 2nd hand aswell. All parts id prefer pick up in Sydney Cheers Andy 0421735661

yeh cheers guys, i got the spark plugs, just took a guess at it, as in the sticky area it doesnt specify which spark plugs are for a r32 or 33 etc... how many members on this forum? about 20 - 30 time more than my previous rides forum. Nothing like the vr4 forums, every guy is more than keen to help wether it be a simple question or a complicated one. same as that sivilansw forum!!!!

Anyone got the ngk copper spark plug part number for a r32? My local autobarn seems to be confused and so am i after seeing the maintenance section of the sticky up top... This is urgent and id like to get it done today so any help will be much appreciated

I have one in my r32 and was looking at changing to a k&n but you dont get back to me in regards to the oil, do you have a replacement 3inch pod for now? ill do a straight swap plus a replacement pod for your oil. I doubt this transaction will happen as i called you over 5 times and text msg'ed you a few times plus msg'ed you on here another few times

Cheers mate, thats all i was after, im getting 8100 tomorrow but its 8100 5w-40 and plugs are easy done. I think you meant 5w-40 anyways right?
