Thanks guys. I will try to flush the radiator first, if the heat problem is still coming. Then i think i will try to put on a oil cooler. (Hope i don't have to) . By the way usually how much for the oil cooler, anyone knows it? Cheers mate steven

O O, then i guess if i wanted to cold down the temputure from the engine, only thing i could do is change a bigger size of intercooler. Right? But i wonder expect changing a bigger size of intercooler, are there any cheaper way to do it? Thanks a lots mate Steven

Thanks mates. So i think it was my silly idea. what about change the radiator perssure cap, will it be help? Our factory cap is o.9Bar, what if changed to 1.3 Bar perssure cap. How's the effect? As i knew is, after changed the higher level perssure cap, the fun will open more often , and could keep the tempture down esaier. Is that right? Cheers steven:D

hay mate, so what is the normal boost gage goes without boost controller? Mine's mix only can go around +3.5 on the standard boost gage. Is that normal? Cheers steven

Hay mate, it also same happan to me, my car 96 GTST also doesn't have ABS as well. If u wanted to know whether u have ABS or not , u can take ur car to the garage to ask. Or try it by urself, simply drive about 60Kms, and then totally stop the car, repeat it fews times. If the wheel didn't knock while u were braking. Then u has got a ABS. But if ur wheels is locking, that mean u doesn't have ABS. Hope it could help.( If i'm wrong, plz correct me!) Cheers Steven

Hi,nice to meet u all down there. I've a question about the coolant. "Heat is turbo car killer, right" And most of the people said that add 50% of coolant and 50% of water into the radiator,and that is the correct formual, right. Here is my silly opinion. If add 60%of coolant and 40% of water into the radiator, will it be more effective for cooling down the engine? Or 55% of coolant and 45% of water! So i wonder is anyone has that experience about that. Becasue soon i need to flush the radiator and change the coolant. Therefore, i had that idea in my mind. Cheers mate Steven

Thx dude, u know why i said like that bro? Because today i killed by one GTS25 on the traffic light. that's why i thought perhaps my turbo has something wrong or either my engine is in not good. Because it's a long story. Since i bought that car, i need to repair lots of thing. But anyway, i really appreciate you guys the valuable advice. cheers bro!

i don't really understand what u mean. Sorry! But i did shifting the gear manually, even from 0-100kms, started from 1-and 2 gear. And i also couldn't achieve +7.(Max i could go is +4- +5) If on the highway, i did push the O/D button and power button, then kick down from 70kms to 140kms. It also couldn't achieve it. Wonder why? is my car have problem or the turbo goes down? Last thing is can you please tell me how does the turbo works?(Becasue it is my first turbo car) is it noticeable? Thanks for the advice!

yeah mate i think so! So u think my car is on not too good condition? Becasue actually since i bought that car, no matter how hard i accleerate the car(Kick down), and i didn't feel the turbo is coming.( Becasue that is my first turbo car, and i never sit on a turbo car) So just wonder when the turbo is coming, how is it feel and how can i know when the turbo is coming? I know in the Dash under the RMP in R33 have got a little clock, it like +7, and -7! And when accelerate hard it will raise. I wonder, when it will be raise to +7, becasue even i kick down , the maximum i could achieved was between +2 to +4 ! what is yours one guys. What do u guys got, if u kick down? Cheers mate Steven

Hay guys, what do u get from 0-100kms? Mine's R33 GTST(Auto) from 0-100kms is 8.1 sec. How is the result for GTST, is my car in good condition or bad condition? Becasue my pervious GTS could get it within 10 Second(MT). So i just wonder is that result very bad for a turbo car? Cheers Steven

you're right mate, about one months ago i just did wash my K&N air filter, but at that time i didn;t know after wash it, i need to use the recharge kits to fix it. Therefore, now i'm going to get another air filter. By the way today i just bought the Trust air filter, i felt the performace is quite similar to the K&N ones. But may be later, if i find it is better, then i will tell u guys. But actually i haven't really try hard on it yet. Cheers. Thanks for everyone the advice

Yes mate, they do have the ATF synthetic oil as below the web-site. http://www.hkskylineclub.com/index1.htm But i just can't find that kind of the ATF oil in N.Z. Anyway i think i would go for the normal ATF gear oil first. By the way, so if i take my car to the garage to change the gear box oil, and diff oil. Do i need to say to them? I mean is normal when change the gear oil, will they also change the diff oil? Cheers mate!!

Cheers mate. But i cound't find any full Synthetic diff oil in N.Z. ! But i did find the Castrol Dexron III ATF oil, but they're not a Synthetic oil, right? Beside how many liters do i need to fill it up! Thanks Cheers steven

First, nice to meet u guys in this club. I've a question about changing the gear oil and differential gear oil? My car is Auto R33 GTST, and i think it is time to change the gear box oil. So i wonder what is the differs between the gear oil and differential gear oil, and which brand oil is good? please advice! I've heard some people said for all the GTST has got LSD function on it. Is that correct? If it is correct, then how can i know my car has got LSD function? Cheers:)

one more little question please bro! Have you guys heard of oil cooler? I read about this in the HK skyline club, they said for RB25DET engine add about 4.8L of engine oil, and extra 0.5L oil cooler if it have. Today i went down to differs shop to ask about it, but some of them said they don't know what is it, and some of them they said they don't have those kind of the stuff. So i just wonder have u guys heard about it, or have been use it b4? Cheers man!

yeah 95sky, on the highway its seem not so powerful eh, but i got the others thing, not sure is it same as ur one. Have u ever try to kick down from the traffic light? My suituation is the first and the second gear, i really feel have the power to push my back to go, but when up to the third gear, the sound just "BO BO" and then u actually can't feel the power. So i wonder is it all the auto turbo is like that? By the way really thanks for you guys the advice, and how much for the Trust panel filter Neil? Cheers

I just bought my GTST about fews weeks ago, and it's a auto one.( Becasue my gf and my sister doesn't know how to drive MT) And also it is my first turbo and auto car. Be honest i don't know turbo car really much, but i used to own a GTS MT. The question is i really can't feel when is the turbo coming, let say when i done 100kms on the highway, even i kick down to 160kms. I didn't feel like much power pushed my back to go. Just like when driving a MT car in the 4th gear to accelerated. I wonder is it the all of the auto turbo skyline is like that. Or my turbo has something wrong? Cheers man!!

Now i'm planning to buy a air filter for my car, but i don't know what kind of the air filter is suit for my GTST. Can u guys tell me what is the differ between the K&N air filter and Pod K&N air filter? How much house power of both filter they're produce?
