Event: Super Sprints at Queensland Raceway Description: This is a super sprint day and our first of several for 2014. You will get 3 sessions of 5-6 timed hot laps around QR.
This is a full track day. There will be practice laps from 9:30 am through 12:00 pm. We will then have a break for lunch. At 12:30, we will be briefed and then onto the track for our laps.
After the success of our last track day I'm expecting this one to be just as entertaining. Location: Queensland Raceway Date: Sunday 2nd February 2014 Time: Be there by 8:45am for a 9:30am start. Cost:
$150 for members $175 for non-members
You will need a timing chip which can be either bought from QR or rented for the day. They cost $80 to purchase and can be used at any timed event held by QR. You can rent them for $20 for the day with a $60 deposit which will be returned to you at the end of the day.
This has been ridiculously well priced. When you consider that the open sprints alone are $175. You're getting a 3 hour practice + 3 sprint sessions for $25 less. Bargain! There are only 20 spots available. From today until the 11th of January, we will be releasing the event to members only on a first in best dressed basis, after this date, we will open the remaining spots to anyone. If you reserve a spot but haven't paid and submitted your entry form by the 21st of January your spot is fair game. So if you want to guarantee a spot get in quick.
If all 20 spots are taken we will start a reserve list of people to take anyone's place if they have to pull out for any reason.
This will be a great way to get some practice under your belt before the QLD v NSW State of Origin Track Day. Requirements:
