sweet yeah i already have 2.5" exhaust as well, but any torque gains i'll be happy with. so i guess your extractors have gone a bit rusty now? i might look into getting them hpc coated or something to stop rust and to keep the heat in... -

here's that info: 1986-98 Nissan Skyline RB20 2000cc SOHC. 1 1/2" Primary 1 5/8" Secondary D6 234.82 1989-98 Nissan Skyline R32, R33 - RB20, RB25 DOHC. 1 1/2" Primary 1 3/4" Secondary 2" Outlet D12 279.45 so Ryno you were right: they make one set of extractors for the RB20DE and RB25DE, but they do make specific ones for the RB20E (sohc). if anyone has an RB20E (i think these were only in R33's as the shitty base model) you'd better let me know or you'll get the wrong ones! -

What do you think of the extractors? Good increase in performance? any decrease? I was pretty sure cookm posted some info on the different size pipe used for RB20 compared to RB25 extractors in the N/A thread but i might be mistaken. i'll confirm with Autopia. -
i noticed a lot of n/a skylines on these forums are from melbourne so i thought i would let u know i am organising a group buy for extractors in case u don't visit the NA forums. see this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=18107 cheers

nice wheels nismoman i'll start a thread in the main forum about extractors
-
that torque is massive! is that a typo and its actually meant to be 287.9 Nm? if its for real then maybe the extractors have sacrificed a lot of peak power for a lot of low down torque? also, i remember reading a thread a while back about how dynos are different or something, maybe this one wasn't calibrated properly or maybe australian dynos are different to new zealand ones (its well known that american dynos read higher than ones over here). thanks for the info on the extractors, i rang advan imports in sydney today (www.advan.co.nz) and they told me that the extractors are mild steel as u said, not hpc coated and i can get them for AU$350 in a painted finish or AU$430 in chrome. I think this is a bit expensive and i should be able to get a better deal by importing them from Autopia in NZ but they haven't got back to me yet on freight costs so i can't be sure... If we have a few people here that are interested in these coby extractors from Autopia in NZ (NZ$226 = AU$196) for their RB20/RB25 maybe we could organise some kind of group buy so we can ship them over to australia for a cheaper price per unit? i'm willing to organise this if people are interested so let me know. cheers greg

ok i take back what i said then, it just goes to show how easy it is to misinterpret stuff on the net
-
i think the focus / ka i saw actually had the plates "IOPNR" -- so we are both right
-
shit that is an awesome time. what mods have u done rmahawaii?
-
the stud pattern is right for a non turbo skyline, but the offset mightn't be. what's the offset dino75?
-
"is that the one with the plates IOPENR?" i've seen that up in belgrave before i think its a focus or maybe a ka, not a mondeo...85% sure
-
i have never been to mccr but this just made me laugh: "Loc: gEt OuT oF mY DaNcInG SpAcE BrO oR I'lL GeT My CoUsInS To BaSh YoU In Da ToIlEtS " what a dick head that shit is just not funny and makes him come accross as a wanker. just thought i'd add that useless comment

nismoman18, "Got extractors for $300, chromed for $100, they put in a massive coby resonator for $80 as well, my cars quieter after the mod, labour+misc bits $120, excellent investment, looks good too." answered two of your posts in one

hey guys this is a bit off topic but i am getting extractors soon for my RB25DE (non turbo) and was wondering if it would be a good idea to heat wrap or HPC coat them? or is it only an issue for you turbo guys? also i have a mild steel hks cat back system and its coated in something on the outside, but i'm concerned about rust on the inside where water condenses, anyone know how to prevent this? thanks sorry about all the questions
