I just became the proud owner of an r34 gtt coupe and have to say godbye to my 4 door. I got the cage about 2 months ago and love it!!!!! It looks amazing and makes a huge difference in regards to how stif the chassis is! I installed it myself with the help of mum.. lol took me around 4 hours to get it all done.. Its really simple to put in.. Just make sure you check whats in the way when ur drilling!! It comes with all the bolts and the mounting plates. Its a safety 21 half cage with a modified cusco chromoly front half out of a 33. Im located in the se suburbs of melb. Im after $800 ono. Will post at buyers expense. For some reason the pics are black when they r in thumnails but when you click on them they r fine. The cage is still in the car so if anymore pics are needed please let me know. thanks for the help guys.. just had a chat to my mechanic and we're just gonna pump out the guard.. i can get around 40mm that way and wnt have any ripled paint with the fibreglass moving..

ive been trying to find either just a plain or a ztune widebody kit for my 34 but cant find anything.. its a 4 door and just wondering if anyone knows where i could find these? cheers

i got my conversion done just over a month ago and it all cost me around $3000.. yes it would have defs worked out cheaper to sell and buy a manual r34 but my car is mechaniacally perfect and i didnt wana risk selling my car and buying another one which might have mechanical issues.. i got most of my parts from general japanese parts in nsw. speak to patrick.. i got my gearbox on ebay but i wouldnt recomend doing that.. i was wuite lucky to get a gd one off an r33. theres a lisst of the main things u need Gearbox r33 or r34 Manual tailshaft Manual gearbox cross member Shifter (ive got one sitting around if ur interested) gearknob Clutch kit (id recomend getting a new one) RB flywheel with all 6 bolts Manual spigot bush (any rb25) Clutch master cylinder piping with master cylinder slave sylinder with 2 bolts to bolt on gearbox pedal assembly manual ecu Gearbox oil (dnt go cheap on that only have to be done once so do it right) I used my auto suround cover aswell and got a gear boot trimed out for it rubber boot cover for shifter u'll also need a kit for the speedo to work (my mechanic got that sorted for me) i think thats pretty much it.. il let u know if i come up with things ive missed.. anyways good luck with the conversion mate.. have been enjoying my car so much more since! its unreal how much difference it makes to the car!

haha well thats wat i was thinking of doing but then couldnt be bother finding all the lil bits and pieces.. wen i bought my car i was offered an alu gtr bonnet with the front added lip for $1000 with all the hinges and the latch but didnt have the cash then.. so regret it!! well cross fingers u cant fix it n need to buy a new one (well the insurance) and then u can use that money for a conversion...

mate u dont want the nismo front bar directly from nissan trust me!!!!! i had to get a quote a month ago and called up brighton nissan and they quoted me $684 as u said for the normal bar and $2860 for the nismo one!!!!! im nt even jkin!! unpainted and without any grills eiher or clips!! luckily i had the choice of just getting it fixed as it wasnt too damaged.. well good luck anyways finding ur parts
