  2. Good news we have the green flag on the dicount code through the website! Now I need an idea of how many people will be placing an order to actually get the code organised Il lock in the names on the 20/06/13 and hopefully they'll provide me with the code by the next day. Cheers
  3. Hey guys, Well I just emailed the sales rep to get a bit of clarification on a couple of things. I enquired if he could provide us with a 10% discount for any orders which are placed from this group buy if purchased by a specific date. This would mean that anyone from here who wants a kit can get it shipped straight to them wherever they are in Australia and can save on shipping from Melbourne. Also IF your order is under $1000 you won't have to chip in for customs fees and GST. Don't have a clue about ADR approved. We're using them for track only cars. They are also coming from the UK so I can only assume that they aren't. The kits I quoted do not include the front windscreen. Hey Steve, Kits can be customised depending on what you want im getting the sliders on the driver side only and naca ducts in the quarters.. £35 for the sliders and £25 for each duct (still waiting for confirmation if that price include fitting) is well worth it.. CNC machined sliders, can't go wrong at that price. Im trying to organise a temporary discount code which can be used on their website when orders are placed to make life a bit easier. I would say they might come up with a minimum amount of buyers to go ahead but I'll wait for them to get back to me again and let you know asap. Hope that makes a few more people happy. Cheers, Herb

  10. When revolution racegear had their end of financial year sale last year they had some pretty good deals on their helmets
  11. that's exactly why i think it should be made compulsory in any class if your running a harness..
  12. well as most of you im sure would approve its about preparing for when the worst will happen. you don't even have to be in a super quick car... 50km/hr in the wall can snap your neck! even though its not compulsory in the class I will be running (open) i still want to be wearing a HANS device. a mate of mine was telling me how one of his friends back in Japan passed away after spinning his evo and just hitting the curb, car didn't even flip and his neck just snapped. i cant put a price on my life... as brad said I don't consider myself as an experienced driver.. yes I've raced my car a few times but I'm no pro and now that I've built a full race car I want to play it safe. I ended up purchasing a Hans Sports II as I thought the only difference was the weight between the sports II and the pro.. How much would you be after for the pro series brad? cheers

  15. Has SAU members gone soft or something?!? I can't believe none of this has been sold yet! great price bud! I just wish I hadn't bought my internals before you posted this! Good luck with the sale!
  16. You'l find these fruits are often rotten bud... I would definitely recomend to just get a shell locally that you can go check out in person if you want to start from scratch.. And time killer is an understatement! Lol more like time serial killer!
  17. thanks for that stephen! definitely good to know! wasnt aware of that at all thought that it might be stickier than the hans one but obviously not
  18. Hey guys, im looking at getting my hans device and was just after some of your opinions on those.. I'm leanisng towards the Schroth port 2 at the moment just because of the slipstop friction surface for the harness but slightly weighs more than the sport 2 Hans model. my understanding is that Schroth just adds what they think can improve the Hans designed ones. But from personal experience has anyone compared them? SCHROTH: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/hans-devices/schroth--new--sport-ii-hans-device HANS: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/hans-devices/hans-sport-ii-hans-device Price wise there's not a big difference and thats why im leaning towards the Schroth one. Cheers, Herb
  19. if its a series 2 it will be fine.. but $200 just for the block is a bit high for an rb30 block...
