  1. If all goes well i will be on the road wed arvo headed back home. Don't think there will be much spare time as we have to get back for work. Thanks anyway appreciate it.

Got the kit on the group buy here on SAU a also got a few other quotes and it was a fair bit cheaper than anywhere else.

  2. I'm just slowly collecting parts for a build not planning on starting in the near future.

I went with JUN for a few reasons. Their quality is second to none and has been proven in the Earls 32. It is a full billet crank where as Tomie and HKS are forged and it came at a good price at the time. The other options i looked at were BC and Nitto. JUN 2.8 crank weighs 21.5kg and rated to 1000hp and 9000RPM. Im not too sure how the others weigh up.

My 34 is Alive again!! Take it off the stands tomorrow give it a wash and prepped up for a trip to Bris next week for a tune and E85 can't wait!! :)

  3. Whilst it may not seem too great now Sean at least you can put a bit of extra cash away for the car you really want and drive around town in a company car for free in the mean time!

Looks like a JUN 2.8 kit will be making its way into my parts collection shortly! :)

  4. Haha beers are always included but best of luck with trying to drink the fridge dry!

I usually use Bob Jane but only take the wheels and tires in there for them to fit then put em on at home. But i need a wheel alignment i think, not sure if i trust them with my car

  5. Yep as Benny said take it o Bris or dave at

CPV I wouldn't trust the rest of them in town with my wheel barrow. Aftermarket support for imports in Mackay is non existent.

Congrats On the purchase post up a few pics.

  6. If anyone needs a mod plate for their car (most of us do) contact Mick Zammit and see if he has any spare spots there is a bloke from Brisbane coming up on the 10th to the 12th of May.

Rules have changed apparently and any modification from injectors, surge tank, turbos, cams, the lot will need to have a mod plate for as of May. Just gives the cops a few less things to pin us for if its all covered. ;)

  7. Jono 40k would get you a 'rough' 34, a good 33 v-spec or a great 32 with change. All up to what you wanna drive lol..

Don't forget the cost of supporting mods i.e. ECU, cooler, exhaust etc they often add up to more than you think.
