  1. Unopened 26 will be fine for a fair while with 24psi and that power on E85.
  2. Yeah always good to know what's out there with new parts. Can't remember the rod size off the top of my head but will check when I'm home.
  3. http://www.junauto.co.jp/products/customkit/lineup.en.html They have done them for about 18 months or more now. I have had mine for over a year.
  4. I went with the Jun 2.8 kit. Billet crank and cosworth pistons quality is top notch ?
  5. What MCA recommended for a street/ occasional track day set up. No a massive or expensive job to change the springs if i find them too soft but thought i'd just go with what they recommend first and change from there. Agreed tho are a little unusual spring rates
  6. Have just ordered a set of the reds front 10 rear 5 will post back on the results once there fitted.
  7. Has anyone got any feedback on the MCA's after that have been fitted up?
  8. Thought id post an updated pic since last time. Have since put a set of genuine mines carbon mirrors on new headlights and changed the TE37's for a set of Advan GT's.
  9. I ended up getting a set of the Advans in semi gloss black. Here are a few quick pics of what there like on a white 34.
  10. Kane just had a quick look at your build thread your car looks great! So you have the TE37's yeah not the Advans? I already have some TE37's just thinking about changing to a set of Advans.
  11. Hi, Anyone running these wheels on their GTR? Not many pics getting around of them on R34 GTR's. See a few R35's with them. Thinking about getting a set in 19x10.5 +15 in black instead of the TE37's any opinions? http://www.yokohama.com.au/ADVAN-Wheels/ADVAN-GT.aspx Cheers Matt
  12. So where do the Unigroup 260 10.8 cams that everyone has been talking about fit into this? Are they a custom grind from kelford?
  13. I been running 430kw in an un opened 26 for a while now apart from a set of Tomie poncams. HKS 2530's and 25psi
  14. GTX 2863's should just nudge 500kw and with a 3L should have pretty decent bottom end. Just depend if your a single or twins man lol..
  15. GCG are making a .84 compact housing for the RB26 will be out in a few months. Should be interesting with the GTX 63/67's
  16. GCG are releasing a .86 compact stainless housing for the RB26 later this year (Sept - Oct) but just sticking with the -5 ones might be the go. I will be using the 2863 with the anti surge housings easy enough to change a few pipes around.
  17. So what sort of difference would you expect to see from swapping rear housings from .64 to.86 on say a 2863? More flow in the top end but less response?
  18. Around the 500kw mark. Yeah your right is a ton of extra work, just something different that hasn't been done before that i am aware of. Nothing is set in stone just kicking a few ideas around. Easies and cheapest option would be just to put the 63 cores into my 2530's and get the 2.8L built with full head work.
  19. Yeah i see you have had great results with your set up with a 2.8L and head work. Maybe surge would be an issue on a 2.6 and small cams. Iam seriously liking the idea of tial .86 V band housings and external gates just don't think there would be enough room not to mention getting custom manifolds made up hmmm..
  20. So after looking into putting the 63mm wheels into my -5's i sent am email to GCG to see what their opinion on this combo would be like, and here is their response for those interested. "We have had customer feedback in regards to this particular set up and it isn't positive, apparently they surge severely if fitted with with standard style housings on both ends unfortunately. Garrett do not do any GTX upgrades for the RB26 set up so we are currently working on a solution to this, pretty soon we will be bringing out our own range of custom stainless steel housings in 0.86a/r to replace the restrictive Garrett 0.64a/r housings (wot work with the GTX28R range), but this won't be ready until later this year. The other thing as well, the surge slotted comp housings would have to be utilized with this set up so a custom intake would be required."
