  1. Well my build has begun...GTR life Bought a brand new coolant bottle, bonnet cowl and rubber, new clips for the front grill. Also got a new GTR badge for the boot, original GTR key and a nice little Nismo key ring Will start fitting things this weekend, also going to wire in my sub and amp and tune the stereo. I've also changed the steering wheel to my mono 'race' wheel. When I got time I'll post my list of things I have decided to do. Love this car, love driving it, love playing with it,
  2. Is anyone wrecking an R32? I'm looking for the weather shield retainer for a 2 door. Both driver and passenger side. Would prefer someone in Sydney, NSW so I can pick up.
  3. I have recently started making some aftermarket gauge holders that fit 52mm gauges and fit into the stock triple gauge holder location on the r32 GTR. Some slight modification is required to get the unit to fit but once installed it looks just like factory. The only modification required is to cut a small slit in the plastic mounting location to allow the holder to slide up into its stock spot since the front plate is not removable like the stock on is. They are made out of 6061 Aluminum and four M5x.8 mounting bolts will be included with the unit. I am selling them for $120USD shipped to anywhere in the USA. And $130USD shipping to Australia. I currently have 10 units available. I will be making more based on demand. I have tested this unit with both AEM and Defi gauges and both fit perfectly. If you have a different brand gauge just let me know what size the gauge measures across and I can verify for correct fitment. I respond to Email quicker than I do a PM on the forum.   4. I bought my R32 GTR in 2007. It has been both the bane of my existence and the love of my life, like any good GTR should. I bought the car with a bottom end rebuild and R33 GTR Crank but stock head and pretty much everything else, except for the suspension, wheels and exhaust. Oh and a shitty IMPUL ecu piggyback that was leaning out the engine (yay) The old girl on carsales Note the high-quality timber used to secure the battery. After using it as a daily for a few years, I finally cracked it when I was commuting 3 hours a day in traffic with the GTR's famous air conditioning. So it was settled, I would be turning it into a track car. It was around this time I had a short stay in Japan and saw this beautiful machine in the flesh at the Omori Factory: My inspiration And then, without even thinking, this happened Shit. So without an interior, there was no turning back. Somewhere in between me stripping the car and the state it is in today the car received new -7 turbos (after the ceramics shitting themselves after one lap at Wakefield) a Vipec ECU (tuned to 260atw on 17psi), a HiOctane Extended Sump, a massive radiator, oil cooler and catch can, and some other bits I can't remember. I remember paying for them though that's for sure. Next step was to install a cage (or at least half of one) Courtesy of Pro Fabrication Also tidied up the interior with a racing seat, door trims and some paint on the floors

  6. Hi guys Been meaning to do this for months now...better late than never so here goes... I have always, well for as long as I can remember, loved the GT-R Skyline. Previously I owned a couple of r32 gts-t Skylines and since selling my last one back in 2006 (link below) I have been waiting patiently… http://www.skylinesa...20r32%20200rwkw Since selling the gts-t I knew a GT-R would be next and in March 2012 the 5 year + wait was over.... I wasn’t really looking when this one came up locally…but it was in the best factory colour (in my opinion) and had minimal mods from standard. Bolt on parts included: Suspension (Tein coilovers) Exhaust (5Zigen cat back) M’s intakes with K & N air filters Wheels (Rota 17 x 9’s) ECU (Mines upgraded) Steering wheel That’s pretty much it. Standard gear really. As soon as I looked at the car I started mentally making a list of all the things I wanted to change/fix/upgrade mainly to make it as reliable as possible. Growing up around motors you quickly learn reliability is paramount! Man did I open a MASSIVE can of worms!!! I literally only drove 100 kms or so before parking her up and started getting stuck in. It’s been sitting on the hoist for going on 8 months now… Next begins the strip down...stay tuned, I am in deep now haha

  8. Hi guys, I'm looking for a diff specialist that can inspect the diff out of my R32 GTR (Will be provided out of the car) and rebuild if necessarily in the Sydney area. Google tells me that Award Diff & Gear Box Services was a popular place to use for Skylines however I believe they have closed down. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
  9. Now to make it short, I'm canadian and I'm trying to figure out what is the agreed upon value of r32 GTRs in general (bad shape, decent shape, mint shape). Obviously there's no concrete answer to such thing because every single r32 GTR is quite different. Now what I don't understand is how the r32 GTR became worth north of 35k$ pretty much every market I have checked (Europe, Australia, USA) and in canada i can still buy one for 17k$. A fully built exemple pushing 600whp is not even worth 30k$. The prices are steadily but very slowly increasing in canada. People are trying to sell them for more but nobody is buying at their higher prices so they just end up selling to the states and getting way more then they could hope to get in Canada. I don't exactly know what the reason is but it seems to be that 1) They have always been dirt cheap until very recently in Canada so people don't give a damn anout them. (In 2008-09 a 10/10mint exemple was worth 15k$. Beat ones went as low as 4k$.) 2) The R34 seems to have taken all the place. Everyone wants an R34 and nobody gives a damn about R32 and R33s. Guessing Fast n Furious is to blame on that one. So, What made R32 skyrocket into outter space in Australia?

  12. Apexi N1 stainless steel catback exhaust built for R32 GTR but has had one section added to fit my 260rs Stagea. 3 inch exhaust in good condition but sits a little low for my liking. A few minor scrapes. Rear cannon in great condition, always polished. Would suit 260rs or 32/33 GTR with minor modifications. May suit other stageas with some modification. $350 pickup in southern suburbs of Adelaide. Price negotiable for a quick sale.

  15. Hi people, I'm looking for an r33 gtr hicas wiring harness/ plugs and hicas motor relay to do an electronic hicas conversion on my r32 gtr. I have tried all of the skyline/jap spares and wreckers I could find and haven't had any luck, if anyone on here knows where I might be able to get one or has one, it would make the project a lot easier and make it a lot neater. I have everything else ( r33 gtr hicas ECU, yaw sensor, rack assembly, clock spring and a good set of wiring diagrams which I have already cross referenced to the r32 diagram to make it work). Any info or help would be appreciated. Thanks 😁

  17. Hey guys, I ran a diagnostic on the climate control of my r32 gtr, I got codes 24 and 25. Being in the garage I assumed I would get code 25 come up so I’ve written that one off. Code 24 is the Intake air temperature sensor, I got a new sensor through nissan and replaced it but the code is still showing up on the diagnostic. Does anyone have any ideas how I can rectify the issue. I’m currently also having problems with no hot air coming out of my vents not sure if this is related or not. Cheers
  18. Hi, As per topic.. After a R32 or R33 GTR that has a blown motor or is in rolling condition. Chassis and body must be in good condition. Preferably with no rust or Major accident damage. Ideally in the following colours – Grey, Black, Silver or Blue (TH1) but will consider others… Any spare parts that come with the car would be a bonus. Please contact me if you can assist.   22. Hi guys, not sure if this is the right section. But im in the process of getting a rb26 engine built. Mechanic has suggested going with the hi octane crank trigger kit. Which is on special for $875 atm. Is regards this setup as far superior to the factory cas. Could I get pro s and con s of the guys running a trigger setup over the factory cas. Ill be running it with Vipec/link ecu. Thanks guys
