Yep, as per PDF in link, first meeting is Pier 35 at 8:30am.

Spewing THRLLR you won't be coming. Better to play it safe, get the 260 sorted. See how we go, good weather scheduled so I'm still looking at making the drive down to Lorne. I will attend all the meet points in case Stag members show up.

Seems a few guys are pulling out due to other commitments/ events which is totally understandable. Are the other members still keen on going ahead with the cruise?

See how it goes, shouldn't be too bad. The AirShow is same $hit everytime I have been, same fossil antique planes each time so I can't see attendance being massive.

Fellow members I have a PDF doc to post here which outlines the 2nd March Vic cruise in more detail however I can't seem to attach it, am I missing something? Otherwise I hope I can PM it to interested members looking at attending.

Cruise still going ahead Saturday 2nd March as per schedule below. 8:30am - Meet a Pier 35 car park 9:00am - departure over westgate outbound 9:45am - arrive and meet at Avalon BP service station car park (at rear) 10:15am - deprture Geelong bound using bypass to Anglesea 11:00am - arrive and meet at Anglesea, car park opposite surfboard shop 11:45am - depart Lorne bound through Great Ocean Road 12:30 - arrive at Lorne, find suitable parking area 12:45 - lunch and bit of socialising amongst Stag members 14:00 - drive down to to a few spots for a few club photos of the cars (example: parking lot near Pier Restaurant as you are driving out of Lorne towards Apollo bay) 15:00 - See what members feel like and take it from there...... Vic is overdue for one so would be great to have as many attend as possible. Fingers crossed Melb weather plays ball. Will attempt to knock up a map/schedule PDF doco and post it up this week. Any recommendations regarding UHF channels to use on the day?

Not a bad idea, if GOR is on the 3rd then definitely an option for the Stagea's to join it however I imagine that could upset a few Skyline members. I reckon we'd be stepping over a few toes.

Tossing up between Sorrento or Lorne cruise. Suggestions and stop points welcome so we can settle on a definite cruise map.

All Vic Stag members!!! Are we happy with 2nd March for a nice family oriented greet and meet cruise???

I'd really love to settle for a date in order to have a good turn out, I think 2nd or 9th March is plenty notice for all to lock it in.

I think we are aiming a bit too high here....

Don't see it being an issue, I have a choice of Evo or Stagea too. Lol.

Just throwing around some ideas for meet and cruise points in order to get the best attendance from all Stag members.... thinking of a meet point just under the bolte (fishermans bend) or pier 35, a great cruise would be to lorne with a few stops along the way... Ideas welcome so we make it as family friendly as possible with a larger attendance than usual.

To give all enough notice and have a great turn out I guess let's plan it for a Saturday after 9th Feb, say something like 16th, 23rd Feb / 2nd, 9th March..... Ideas for destinations???
