  1. Fellow Stag owners, with such awesome Melb weather upon us and Stag owners increasing in Vic I think a Melb cruise is required. Any preference of dates, cruise ideas, opinions most welcome.
  2. Great job but not entirely convinced it's in the correct area of the bonnet. I reckon positioned a bit more on the passenger side and higher would have it quite effective with heat extraction from the turbo area.
  3. I have Nitto Invo's on my Axis and must say they are awesome, handles like on rails. Looking at throwing Invo's on the Evo when tyres are due. Very nice PM35 too....
  4. No harm done bunnybash, every cent counts and everyone has a budget in mind......
  5. What a great laugh reading this thread, I thought I was the only one that cracked the shits! The R33 I owned and sold: People called up constantly querying; what's it do 1/4 mile? how many kw does it pull on the dyno? can it out run a gtr? does it lose traction easily? The Stagea I am currently selling: I noticed you have an aftermarket stereo in it, do you still have the factory japanese stereo to supply with the sale? I am looking at upgrading to a bigger family wagon as I need the space but I want it to be economical with fuel? go buy a friggin getz! Many many more, could sit here the whole night trying to remember all the sillies....
  6. I got mine as the hole arm with bush pressed in, the bush is sort of actually moulded to the arm, original from Nissan Japan, price was $144 AUD per side 54468N (RH) 54469 (LH)
  7. I replaced mine about 15k ago. In my previous Axis I did the mistake of putting in custom made nolathane bushes, never ever again, over speed humps and up driveways squeeked like a mofo.
  8. Not in any rush, for $12k I'd rather write it off into a pole. I sold my father in laws 1999 Hiace for $13k.
  9. As mentioned above, go test drive and inspect a few Stageas local to you.... Then come and inspect my Axis that's for sale and you can drive back home in it. Ultimate family wagon. Check out the link as per my signature.
  10. Welcome matey! I have a pretty long history with imports, all my previous jdm rides were personally imported and loved everyone of them. This is my 2nd M35 Axis and absolutely no regrets, great car. By the way it's for sale as per link below in my signature.
  11. Hey Kurt, Both C34 and M35 have great aspects to them. Only way you will settle down on one is inspect a few THOROUGHLY, compare features vs condition vs price vs year vs mileage vs what it is you want the car for vs how long you wish to keep it for. Mate, my M35 Axis is for sale, have a closer look as per the link in my signature.
  12. Just had the 70K service carried out. Selling price is $19,990.
  13. I'll pulled mine out, sent em back to Canberra anonymously telling them to stick it up their cake hole. I then cleaned up the holes, rust proofed them, siliconed and replaced the plastic trim. First mod I did on my previous Axis and this one.
  14. Go with a Stagea! In fact; mines on the market.....
  15. Welcome new Axis owner! Quite a few showing up in SA it seems. Need some to come down for a Vic cruise.
  16. Great story. Was quite entertained! Hows it go; Greedy pays twice! AND You get what you pay for! Made in YumCha not so good, not so love you long time....lol... Well done on sorting it all out in the end.
  17. Sorry to spoil things for you and get your hopes up. It's in my sons room hence all the childs toys on it mate.
  18. Did it because I could. Everyone in my company was supplied an iPhone, hence I got the box.
  19. Fellow Stag owners! I finally finished the project I have been working on. I believe the pictures will be self explanatory.... For more go to; http://s1054.photobucket.com/albums/s493/ecr33_rb25det/Shelf%20made%20of%20iPhone%20boxes/
  20. Been in touch with them couple of weeks ago. Hoping they have some news pretty soon.
  21. I am sure it will cost me a few k to get a replacement car to the same level as this Axis but prepared to accept that.....I am hoping that compliance becomes available soon for the PM35
  22. Not a great deal to be honest. Slightly remodelled front, refined interior and I simply just want one....
  23. Gents, this was my wifey's old Axis....definitely was only cosmetic damage but got paid out and 48hrs funds were in my account. It went for $3200. Ins offered it back to me for $6K. The guy that purchased it was a panel beater so lucky for him all his labour to get it back on the road was free. It did still set him back about $5K in parts. It was going to cost me all up $10-11K to have back on the road AND having said that it will of have the repairable writeoff against it's VIN history.....
  24. Attention all, rego is up for renewal on 21st Sept. New owner will get full 12 months rego, can't go wrong!!!
