Hey guys, Recently I got bit by the rice fever and threw on a kit for the 34 GTT. Kit is sweet as, I'm happy with it, but the problem is that the car sits too damn low, I cannot get it into the driveway, and is almost undriveable(my area has too many humps. TOO MANY!!). I am running on TEIN superstreet. I got the springs wound to let the car sit tight, had a mate put some spacers in it, now it sits about the height of 1 iPhone off the gound. I need it to be at least 1/2 or 3/4 an inch higher. Anyone got any ideas? I have been told I should change to height adjustable coils(top and bottom), but I'm quite clueless as to which coilovers are height adjustable. Please, anyone, help..?

GTT Front Bar, off my S1 R34 as I got a new kit. Its in great condition, though I have no pictures as of now. The right SMIC vent is painted black, bar is in white. No cracks, scratches. Asking: 330. Hi everyone!! My name is Kenn, I bought a white R34 GTT about 6 months ago. I've been here for quite awhile, and spent way too much time stalking the classifieds for parts, but never got around to saying HI! I'm in St Lucia, studying at UQ. And oh, I'm quite keen join a cruise, if there's any going on? Maybe I should pop by the Baskin Robbins meetup one day if its okay? Oh yes Isola, you might just very well be my tutor for Professional Writing Communication course. *gasp!*

$395 for only the front bar - Cameron Bodyworks. I'm bringing in my car for a full kit paint and prep + installation. Will keep you posted of the workmanship, though they do come highly recommended. I've personally seen lots of Skylines in their workshop too, notably a white R34 GTT with Z Tune front guards, rear GTR flared guards, and OEM GTR wing. Yums!

Mine's white, I have the same problem too. I usually wet it with water, then with soap water, that works well for me, but I'm assuming you've tried that already. Argh, damn birds.

Don't meant to hijack this thread but I was just thinking about putting in a pod filter in the car too. Saw KnN ones at autobahn going for around $100. Is there 'kit' or adapter that I might need to install this? If so does it usually come with the Pod Filter? Or must I get it seperately? Running a R34GTT S1. And advice would be much appreciated!!

My sentiments exactly mate. I'm quite horny for an East Bear kit to be honest, but 2k for a front bar is just insane, and really not worth the money at all(but thats just my silly opinion). Hence I'm looking for something similar. This one came the closest, next to the JSAI kit but then again JSAI has copped some pretty bad rep recently so. Oh well, the search goes on..

I'm currently running on Tein Superstreets, on an R34 GTT. I was wondering if there was any way to raise the car, as the coils were already on when I bought the car? Its way too low for the front bar I'm getting.

See thing is, when I floor it, boost kicks in around 2.8-3k rpm. Boost carries through through the rev range, until the auto box shifts up. When this happens, it feels as if I abruptly stopped the throttle. And perhaps to a certain extend, its feel like(not saying it is), a huge sudden engine brake. After this huge loss of boost and gear change, it starts to pick up again. It's anything but smooth and annoying as hell sometimes. I spoke to the guys at the garage, they weren't trying to sell me anything in particular, but said that Nissan's auto boxes from the last century are shit and laggy, hence the weird gear changes. He advised me that probably swapping over to at atmo bov might solve the problem. I'm not looking for the biggest whooosh sound that will make me feel like i have the biggest weiner in QLD, word. I did look up a fair amount of threads but most of them were looking to get turbo flutters and compressor surges and hugeass whooooshes. I'm just simply looking for something with a subtle, sound, easy on the ears, and not annoying(if installing a BOV would help).

Personally, I'm not so keen on them. I don't hate them; they're like a noisy catback on a wrx at the lights, it just doesn't bother me. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to get one. However on my last service, I did mention about this sudden and very abrupt loss of boost during gear changes (rb25det AUTO). I was advised to put in a BOV "so it can release pressure better" whatever that means. Is this true? If so, what brands or models would anyone recommend? I would very much prefer something subtle, much like the stock bov in a JZA Supra. Been in my mate's ride and it has a very subtle whoosh sound, nothing like the SSQV. Personally I've had friends recommend the Blitz Super Sound. Not too savvy on this so some help/advice would be appreciated.

Hi guys, Sorry I'm not too savvy with electrics but can I confirm that in an R34 GTT: a) "parkers" are the lights on the outer most side of the headlamps? From outside to inside: parkers > low beam > high beam? b) The parkers bulb is a T10? c) If you have HID installed for the low beam(H1), do you need another set of kit with additional ballast for the parkers or do you just need the extra HID bulbs and plug it into the existing low beam ballast? Would greatly appreciate any advice on this!! Cheers.

He shaved off the top mole and part of the middle bits in the grill, finally painted the 'lip' black and it looks wicked sick. And thanks!! I was pretty glad I didn't get black, I kinda find white abit nicer after awhile(or maybe I'm just stupid biased, lol). Are you in sunny banks? @Gimps, I think the general consensus around here is not to get kits off eBay, like uhm, you get what you pay for yea? I was thinking about it but the EB kit is out of my league. I was very skeptical too, but since another white Skyline has taken the plunge and not died, I was thinking maybe I should go for it too. Well, I'll keep ya posted on how it went, but first I need to find a decent affordable garage. I'll probably give the suggested ones a call on Monday.

p.s - is your bottom "lip" painted gloss black or matt black?
