To be honest I am still in similar shoes as you I am in Sydney and only 2 companies are willing to insure me which is NRMA and Just car. All the other companies say all theses different reasons. With your Age its worse and your premium will sky rocket. I am currently 22 and like i mention only Just Car and NRMA. Shannons say that because i have not driven a turbo charged car for 12 months before they will not insure me. I can tell you that my premium is above 2500 and i am 22 with a grade rating 2 from just car insurance.

I was wondering if anyone out there has bucket seats on their R34 GTT. I think the main question i should be asking is has anyone been defected? Has anyone ever been question by the police about them? Has anyone ever had a issue with bucket seats in a R34 GTT? My importer told me that buckets seat in a R34 GTT are defects and you can get into alot of trouble from the police. Just want to know what people think that is all.

Thanks for all the advice out of the 57 people that view my post you are the only person that respond for that I am very great full. Hopefully doing a DIY service is as easy as you said. I have done one before but that was a different car and it was a basic oil change and radiator flush. To pros like you for sure it would a easy job to newbies like me it may take some time.

Hi, My car is on the boat at the moment and is due next week. My importer told me it takes 2 weeks to do compliance. That means I get the car around end of month. Just wondering What I should do once it comes out of compliance. A couple of friends told me to take it to a mechanic and do a full service. Then enjoy the car for the first week before you start to modifying it. The car is a Nissan Skyline R34 GT T series 2. I personally hate the stock Series 2 body kit, especially the front bar. It looks like a 2000 model Camry in my eyes. Going to buy a new body kit or see if I can find a optional factory Aero body kit. Any recommendations on where to look. Also can one of the kings on this forum tell me where the best place for a full service with a decent price is, I live in Sydney. I am not the richest person in the world so I can't afford to go to any random Mechanic.

Mate, My advice would be if you really want a skyline is to get a good condition one and leave it alone no mods. Wait till you get your full licenses and then go buy a Turbo skyline. No offense to anyone on this forum but NA skylines are just a waste of time to modify. Also you are a P plate the second you start doing things like that your insurance will sky rocket. Don't forget a skyline is a cop magnet and you being a P plate makes it worst. I had a friend which was driving a Subaru RX and it was non turbo because he was on his Ps. The cops pulled him over and said that he had a turbo in his car which he didn't. The cops said it because he modded the engine. It just makes it chaos especially if you start modding. Stock is the best way to tell the cops to shove it up their back side hahaha!!! Once you get you fulls get a turbo and go modding crazy. To be honest I don't mind paying the fine its just the demerit point that is ticking me off. Honestly money lost can be regain by working. I don't want to lose my license for speeding just little over the limit 4 times with these stupid cameras. Like anyone on this forum if you lose your license and you get it back and when you buy comprehensive insurance on your car its more expensive then if you haven't lost your licenses Correct? (Prove me if I am wrong! Which I doubt!). Which means more money for insurance companies and more money for the stupid government because of the fine. Less time on the road for us correct? If I am really wrong someone honestly prove it to me. Lets just say I got one speeding ticket because of a careless mistake. I need to wait 3 years to get back three point which is stupid. If you lose your license you lose it for 3 months. These stupid laws are just so pathetic and stupid.

I believe it a f**king stupid idea to reintroduce it. I have not received a speeding ticket in the last 5-10 years. If you need to speed up just to over take someone or you are teaching a L plate and they push accelerate instead of brake and they were speeding it would cause more chaos I believe. Come on if I get a speeding ticket because I was 10 over the limit to over take now that is stupid. Honestly I believe if they do that they should give a larger limit then 12 demerit points and give you the ability to regain point much faster because this is stupid. This makes it easier for people to lose their licenses, and give more money to the f**king insurance company because you get less of a bonus.

Does anyone agree with me on this one. I was driving my Friends DC5 Integra Type R the other time and I was coming from the city through ANZAC bridge some moron was really close from behind. I knew there was a safety camera up a head and the lights change orange I press the brake and the moron behinds hits me. I think the Government is a stupid to make safety camera in incidents like that this could be avoid I just had press the accelerator a little harder and I would of got through the light but because its a safety camera i decided to stop. Which was a bad idea either way. I believe these f***en safety camera will cause a lot more accidents what do you think?

Honestly you should not be complaining I am awaiting my skyline to come out of compliance at the moment and just car quoted me 2100 for a Nissan Skyline R34 GTT series 2. At least you are driving a GTR. I will be parking on the street as well because my house does not have a car port. You should be grateful

BP still sells 98 OC i fill it up all the time. I more scared if they phase out unleaded fuel that some morons may decide to make their own ethanol fuel and it kills our engines
