I've read everything and hence my surprise at some of the recommendations. Should have been clearer that I was whinging rather than asking. Seen enough threads to know what miserly GTR owners have shown works.

I was expecting to install the turbos and run stock piping and intercooler. But hard to TELL the mechanic what is best when he considers it his job to know. So new mechanic may be the way to go.

So thanks everyone for the usual "assistance".
