    Insurance

I called them and they rejected me cause apparently I wasn't enough of an enthusiast, lol! Do they have a limit on how many people they can insure?
  2. Federal Super Steel 595 Dry : 9/10 Wet : 8/10 Value for $ : 10/10 After going through 2 sets of tyres in a period of 6 months (and im a bit of a nanna driver) I went to my buddy down the road and he recommended these, they've been the best tyres I've ever had on it, my back(245) tyres are wider than the front(225) and it has the best handling!!!! The previous tyres were all of the same size and my buddy recommended changing them for better handling. No other tyre I've tried has been as good as these, best for high performance vehicles!!!! each tyre was bout $195... i got them over a year ago (so cant really remember exact price) and the tread still looks brand new BTW my housemate use to have Michelin Preceda's on her little Ford Focus and they wore out in under 6 months.... She now has Firestone Firehawks and the grip in them are shit, going sideways is easy with little effort....
  3. I had paint come off on my r33 and my partners dad checked it out and he said there was no primer ever applied in that area, makes me wonder what was the go with Nissan's paint shop if a fair few people are having trouble with it... Hope your car looks as good as new soon

    Car Ramps

That would have to be the best idea I've seen in a long time. Wonder how much weight it could hold.... Great job mate, keep up the good work
  5. Hey Mate, you wouldn't happen to have a demister button would you? I kinda just broke mine, it'll pop in but wont pop back out. Thanks
  6. Well see I was thinking just having them inside the car, I have nismo pedals that have a blue backlight on them... and a couple of 9cm blue led's that I was gonna hook up to the doors and have them just under the back seats and front, just for some sort of effect. Stuffed if I know really, just throwing some idea's on how to use them as their just lying around. I have a blue light in the interior light. Didn't realise everyone hated them so much, otherwise I wouldn't have embarressed the shit out of myself by posting it. Was just curious...
  7. Hi everyone, Was just wondering if anyone knows the legalities with having neons/LED's in the inside/outside of your car? I got told years ago you could have them as long as they weren't within viewing sight. As in, they are near the floor, not on your dash and as long as the outside one's weren't on while you are driving. But I don't know whether this has all change. I will be adding a killswitch to them anyways, so I can turn them off whenever I like. I might even just hook them up to the door lights, so when I open the doors they're on.... dunno just throwing around ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated
  8. Hey guys I was looking for the chrome one as I have a red one on my car, but think the chrome would look nicer and have searched everywhere and haven't found anything. However I was looking on another forum today and someone suggested www.nisswreck.com.au and I emailed them and they have them... They cost $25.00 plus postage hope that helps

    Insurance

Just Car costs me $2500 cause I'm under 25, however no one else will insurance me.... or so I got told. With just car without having a 2 point immobiliser and alarm on the car I wasnt covered for anything. With NRMA you dont have to have any of that and your still covered, plus its under half the price of Just Car....
  10. My headlights we're yellow too, I got some headlight cleaner stuff from SuperCheap Auto and it seemed to work pretty good, just follow the instructions and you'll have no probs
  11. I know this will probably sound like a huge bodge job to some, but I just got some like undercar deadener from Bunnings (its in a tin) and pulled everything out of the inside of the boot and pulled the backseats all out and everything. and put that on. I had huge trouble with the car rattling from the sub. The stuff takes a while to dry properly... but it has actually made a huge difference. It only comes in black though, but where you have it you dont really see it.
