    yeah yeah

Where are how did you get insurance for $1600 at 23 living in Claremont and only having your licence 9 months?? I'm 24, 55% ncb and i live in Mt Claremont and my insurance on a 95 GTS-T is $2400 how did you score that?
  2. SST have offered to swap the diff with a standard and waive the installation and do what ever else is needed to get the car running so i hope i'm easy sailing next week.
  3. Yeah thats my problem at the moment, i live near the beach and there are heaps of short tight corners that make my car sound like a machine gun from the barracks. Specially since its winter man just accelerate over 3000rpm around and it might skid into someone's car. Yeah if we were allowed to drive at 60kmh around every corner i'd be fine.
  4. Thanks for that, i'm taking it into SST for Steve to have a look at today.
  5. Yeah to drift and life length i was told, easy as to drift with a locker even if you don't really know how, just hang the wheels 90 degress put your foot in and watch the arse end fly. And you can correct yourself pretty well. But just driving around all you hear on a turn is skipping and grinding.
  6. Thanks for the replies guys, going into SST today to get them to look at what I have under there. Hey man , yeah be interested but i'll need to get yours checked out before i agree to the swap just to make sure that everything will be alright, don't want to go from one problem to another, hope you understand. I'll send you my mobile later tonight after i've seen SST.
  7. Hey guys, just got a skyline and it has a locker diff in it. can anyone recommend me a shop that can look at it and not charge a bomb or even free, to tell me what it is and if it is in decent condition. Need to get some advice on it aswell cause i'll going to sell it in the near future. thanks
  8. damn, well i hope someone wants it, looks like alot of people are scared off by it or something. Not much interest in it over here in Perth.
  9. Hey SK, just wondering then if the Zeal shocks are set up with hard fixed damper rates, then these springs i got were way to hard anyways. I could have gotten softer ones may have made a bigger difference. Might go and get a hold of some softer ones just to try. Thanks man.
  10. Yeah will give it a shot just need to find out what the thing is, don't want some guy that doesn't know bugger all and charging me heaps to look at it.
  11. Thanks for the reply guys. Yeah the grinding gripping noise it makes is quite alot. Its really working hard even on a soft corner. How much are locker diffs usually worth?? The WA Suspension guys said roughly around $1700. I dunno what someone is going to charge to look at it and tell me what it is. But if someone wants a straight swap with a good condition standard or preferably new diff and is willing to pay for the installation at a mechanic i'll go for that. I want to get mine checked out first to see what its all about though.
  12. Hey Guys, Just bought a Skyline with a locker diff fitted. I didn't want it on there but the car was a cheap price and the engine was good. I want to get rid of the locker diff and go back to normal cause I'm not drifting enough for me to use it and i don't want to shred the tyres needlessly. My question is I can't figure out what brand or type of diff it is. When the car was getting the springs changed and up on the hoist the guys at WA Suspensions couldn't tell me without actually opening it up. Can anyone recommend a diff mechanic in Perth metro that would be able to look at it and tell me what brand and model it is. THanks. I actually want to get rid of the diff and swap it with a standard one so if anyone is interested let me know and we'll do a straight swap but buyer will have to front the cost of the diff getting taken off and fitted.
  13. WHats on Sunday?? wish I could've gone to that Wanneroo track day last saturday
  14. Very interested but no funds. If i could only sell the stuff I got going on here i'd be fine.
  15. Pics for viewing Hope this works http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost.../7609/zeal1.jpg http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost.../7609/zeal2.jpg http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost.../7609/zeal3.jpg about 90K each.
  16. They have come off my R33, I have put in its width at 60mm or 60ID cause from what I have been reading alot of the coilovers are using 65mm for Skylines. I have Zeal Function Basic on the car. Zeal stuff comes under Endless www.endless-sport.co.jp or www.endlessusa.com or try this search link. http://www.google.com.au/search?q=endless+...le+Search&meta= Seems the coilovers I have are very common on Honda TypeR for track stuff but if your Skyline has the right shocks for it, then it should be ok. Been discussing some of the points in the suspension section, look my nick up.
  17. Hey, I have a picture here PM me so i can send it to you. How do you post a picture on here cause I can't see where you can store the image online for it to link to.
  18. Hey got Zeal spring set for sale. Going for $300 ono make offers. Very good condition. PM me if interested. 60mm diameter 20cm length back 450pound 8kg 17cm length front 600pound 10kg for hard track drifting don't recommend for the road. Can ship for about $25 overnight airbag, if you can find cheaper let me know. I'm in Perth if that makes it easier for anyone. thanks.
  19. Guys still available. WIlling to accept reasonable offers. Speakers are still installed in car would need a weekend notice before they can be taken out. Can freight anywhere in Aust for about $25 we can negotiate who pays. This is the what the DDDrive are http://www.alpine.com.au/product_pages/ddd...ddrive_page.htm THanks.
  20. I think it is about 200 pound for Aussie streets Japan is harder from what WA Suspension told me. But I can assure you that 300 pound is ok for most Perth roads but if you come across potholes good bye skirts and bumper. But then look at your shocks if you got damper adjustment that makes a big difference too.
  21. Steve, Yeah thats cool i'll see what happens. Guys i got the new Eibach Race Kit on there 450 pound at the front and 300 at the back and damn what a difference 1/3 reduction makes. Its still a bit hard but more than bareable. I'm pretty damn happy with the change. I can't go down any softer the guys said because it won't be in harmony with the Zeal shocks cause the shocks will be doing too much work with softer springs and get worn out. jlnewton, how is your change going. I'm thinking if I had any harder than what i've changed to it will be still a bumpy bumpy ride.
