how do you like the 33r? I was deciding between to two but went the evo for cheaper modding

ahh stock for stock im not sure as I bought this with exhaust and boost controller, which I put in my gtt. also now with a high flow panel filter and a tune the evo is so much faster! with the mods on the gtt I had around 170-180 rwkw, with the evo I have 200awkw, and you can bloody feel it! my friend has a gtr with 240awkw and he has me in the top end as my car only revs to 7 where his revs to 9 so I need cam shafts to keep up in the top end haha. the evo is more responsive down low and comes on in the mid range so much harder, but plateus in the top end as the gtt did too. fuel consumption is better then the skyline, best I got in the skyline on all fwy was 600kms for 60 ltrs, best in the evo is like 500? with a 40 ltr tank. around town they both get around 300kms to a tank so evo dominates that too. servicing is the same as any other turbo car, only difference is it has 2 diffs, I changed the oil and it cost 50 bucks more hah. modding is soooooooo much cheaper.... so I have zaust, panel filter, boost controller bit bigger fuel pump and tune. 200awkw. next stage is, cam shaft, springs and retainers to hold them down (1k all together) an evo 9 turbo (around 600 bucks second hand in perfect condition) and a retune on the stock computer which costs 350 bucks. those few things will get me 270kw im told off my tuner. if I got a bigger turbo for 1500 itd make 300kw and if I got injectors and a bigger fuel pump itd go around 350awkw, which would be way to much haha. 270 sounds good to me. I love the way the evo feels, aggressive is good but I do need to leave Newcastle to have any sort of fun as the highest speed limit around here is 60 so theres no point even trying to have fun hah. luckily theres some fun roads not to far away from me any more questions let me know

The gtt is long gone and I couldn't be happier with my evo, have done a bit of work to it since getting it and have raced it at wakie, thought id show it off on here. hope you all enjoy!

Hey everyone! Its been way to long since a good Newcastle organised cruise, (mainly because all 5 of us have been busy as with other things). so this one has to be an awesome come back! so the plan is, we will be doing the north section of putty road (as its the only part worth doing), instead of the boring hwy there and back were going to be going on some fun familiar roads to get there, basically trying to roll 3 cruises into 1 without going through a lot of petrol. The route, makes for a 3 hour trip of fun!!! SYDNEY PEOPLE; if you want to meet up along the way just say where and write you on the attendance list so you don't get forgotten about, I recommend meeting at wollombi as the first half of putty rd is very boring and youll still get a lot of fun driving time. If not the halfway point on putty road will still get you a lot of driving and shit talking an epic cruise for Sydney people will be old pac to peaks ridge to wollombi and continuing on with Meet at 9am, to leave at 930, the drive takes 3 hours to get to the end point which is where we will be having lunch at singleton pub that weve been to before. Meet point, United petrol station 971 Freemans Drive lots of parking space, looks to be a very generous driveway. We will be stopping if required to meet up with people from Sydney at wollombi and ofcoarse the putty half way point. the cruise is only 3 hours with 1 break so if you cant control your bladder youll have to catch up Parking is limited in wollombi so id prefer not to stop, but if need be we will pull in at the pub, we just open the gate and drive into the meadow as does on previous cruises. hopefully we don't need to as id feel bad having 30 cars pull in just to take a piss and then leave without buying anything. PEOPLE WANTING TO JOIN HERE, BE HERE BY 10:10 SO IF WE SEE YOU, YOU CAN JUST JUMP ON THE END OF THE GROUP SO WE DONT NEED TO STOP. This is the half way point on putty road if anyone doesn't know it. im sure well stay here for a good 30-1 hour talking crap. PEOPLE WANTING TO JOIN HERE, WE WILL ARRIVE AT AROUND 1130 From putty, we will head to singleton for lunch at the albion pub! we will arrive at 1230 for all the snittys they have. After lunch i'm guessing everyone will be splitting up, Sydney people down putty, central coast people down through Cessnock and Newcastle people through Branxton (or a little detour that I have in mind . IT WILL BE A GREAT DAY!!! IT WILL BE A BAD DAY IF PEOPLE WITH THE WRONG ATTITUDE COME WITH EXCESSIVE REVING IN PUBLIC AREAS, BURNOUTS, DANGEROUS DRIVING. were going to have fun, on some of the best roads in the state, we don't need idiots wrecking it.

on its way, is 5 hours driving to long for one day? that's start and finish in Newcastle or Gosford, works out the same
