WTF? Are you not allowed FACTORY HID's in Aus?
Aftermarket HID kits here are illegal, due to the fact most of tthem are for LHD cars so distract oncoming traffic... But if you drive towards a car with factory, adjusted properly HID's, they don't phase you at all...

I wasn't sure if there was a thread for this or not, but thought it'd be good to see where people have seen Stagea's slotted in before... Be it movies, tv advets or music videos.
M35 Stagea @ 1:02 in this video

Not what I did to my stagea, but more what I did WITH it..
On the way to nightwars (a summer drag racing series), threw sparks all over everyone elses cars, popped a couple cats eyes out of the road and now all I can smell is hot metal... Flexi in the exhaust looks worse for wear and so does the rear tow hook... Might need to raise it.

Yeah I mean more the black with red. Are they an OEM rim that has been painted? Can't quite pick them...
Wolf S36. "Black Redline" edition.
18x9.5 +35 offset

Yep, wheels suit the car perfectly too!
They do now that it's lowered haha. I'm gona need to space them out a bit though
-
it looks awesome!!!
but i bet it handles like ass. no offence, but youve put your whole suspension geometry out of whack. i bet the LCAs are angled up all round.
TBH, handling isn't what i'm worried about... Considering I have a proper track car to take care of my speed needs. This really only sees city driving 50km/h, with the occasional beach cruise.
And from a quick look, nothings too badly angled. It handles better than it did before, i'll say that much... lol

^ Not bad, rear is set to about 3/4 hard and front set to full hard. Still another 30-40mm of adjustment in the coilover if I wanted haha.
-
Quick phone photo.. Proper cam photos later.
50mm clearance on chassis.. Can't even get a credit card between the guard lip and rear tire....
-
Fitted 350z D2 coilovers into the M35... Been laying frame all night. Tomorrow removing inner guards, rolling outer guards and changing tires from 245/45/18 to 215/35/18....
Pics up in the morning

Got new tires and drove it to 200,000kms, like a boss.

Even with the lights off on the switch? Anyway to disconnect it. f**king annoying, it's just one of those things I notice out of the corner of my eye, it's not a problem just a pain that gives me a tick. lol

Quick Qs, regarding M35s...
Seperate to the Auto Headlights.... Are the dash lights auto dimming too? Like all this week, with my headlights off, at around 5:30pm on way home from work, not dark but not bright sunny either, the aircon display and dash go dim...
-
forgetting the 4wd, would 350Z lines fit a rwd M35?
-
Washed it today.
Yesterday finished my intake, took bottom resonator out of airbox cut hole bigger for 3" piping from bumper grill.
Also brought 2 more Wolf 18x9.5s, but in +15 offset, so now will be running +30 up front and +15 rear
-
yeah pretty close
oil 10k
filter same time
spark plugs 80-100k
coolant 2 years or 40k
fuel filter 2 years or 40k
air filter? chnge when it looks dirty lol or 2 years 40k
brake 2 years or 40k
drive belts 80-100k
some people change oil at 5k, but to me thats overkill with a decent oil. manufacturers are pushing cars to 12.5k and 15k service intervals
Yay im doing it right! Minus the oil interval, I do it anytime between 5K and 10K, when ever I feel like doing it but never goes over 10K.
Quick Q, where's the fuel filter in M35s?

the main reason I stopped posting in here is because of all the idiots that dont know their arse from their elbow giving bullshit advice that will lead any unsuspecting noob to really stuff things up. The above posts confirm how right I was
Hugh, once again, your talents and experience are wasted on these idiots, but thank you for giving me hope that this forum is not totally slowly morphing into a petri dish of retards, window lickers and mouth breathers, challenged only in size by the commenters on youtube.
Then continue to not post in here?
My last comment about the SR20 was a joke, so how about you get your head out of your ass?
Ah what up hater!
-
Cant be any harder than an SR20 lol
-
Generally, Nissan and good workshops say to change at 200KM, but as said, if looked after it should last longer than this.

Modified this Crown Royal 40oz bag as a gearboot for the M35
Wil get a pic up tmrw

I think I paid $350au a pair for the kings on my Soarer, that was a while ago though. I cant imagine they are $100 now, we get ripped over here for most parts. Still, my point is the V35 rear spring rates aren't suited to our wagons.
Suited to who's liking?
I really should stay away from posting here... The info is very helpful, but the people are much to opposite.. I'm looking for the lowest, most unpractical, clunking, banging, scraping M35 there is... lol
-
V35 springs may well be too soft at the back, mine were. The fronts were too low for everyday driving, I had to put a spacer above the spring. The BC's cost me $1200, not much more than a set of V35 King springs cost and I can set them up however I want.
Geez, what you paying for springs then?
From Repco, King Springs are $140NZD a pair. Cobra a little cheaper but sag.

It will have more low after it gets a cert.
On the coilovers there's another 40-50mm to go in the dummy bottom, and then there's the spring rate adjustment too... I could possiblt make it lay frame as a static drop
