  4. Ummm... My new Bikirom USB Mega baords work in the ER34....
  5. So many horror story's about so many different ecu's. never heard a horror story about a std re-tuned ecu =) Everything that worked before still works exactly the same as before it was tuned. Only, now you have a tuned car. You just can't go wrong. Skip the ECU install and buying costs and go directly to the tuning costs. I havn't seen a std ecu install wiring harness fail, drain batteries or fry countless coilpacks in the process of 'tuning'... 15 years on and things still work =) Cold start, idle and cruise with perfect fuel economy every time, without fail...
  6. who the hell tuned such a hidious power curve? or is someone playing ramp rates again? ;P
  7. not personaly no, it all comes down to the person editing the roms that make the boards useful. thats why i only offer mild tunned maps and base files =)
  8. I now have a new batch of s13 and n14 gti-r daughterboards on the way!!! thats right.. the same old quality boards have all sold out so i've had another batch made up!.. this time i've made quite a few boards and they are all ready for pre-ordering and shipping for the ~28th dec.. $110 inc shipping. email me for bulk boards Simple features *2x 27c512's for 4 maps selectable via onboard switch, remote switch mounting also *seemless switching *easy installation simple removals and pre-programed maps -speed/rev/air flow cut removed -mild tunned sr20det s13 map -mild tunned sr20det n14 gti-r map -all come with base maps, and i email you the binaries these boards are for the following cars/engines s13 -sr20de -sr20det n14 gti-r -sr20det they also seem to work on u13 SSS bluebirds, sr20de n14's... havn't done it personaly tho. email me [email protected] or icq 278330 i need to get as MANY pre-orders as possible to make this operation viable quickly.. I strive to offer these boards as cheap as possible to everyone, and give base maps to aid people to DIY tunning and modifications at home. I ship everything via express post, sorry no COD at this time as i can't afford the 2-3 week waiting period for money return. may do COD's in a few months. also had problems with people not picking up packages and then i get slug'd with shipping!
  9. for a controlable and impressive d0rift in an s13 (silvia/180) you want some fine suspension (tein coilovers, koni etc) some front/rear sway bars (large), front strut brace and a GOOD LSD!... single spinners are horrible!... seriously i wouldn't try to fang a single spinner out sideways, its way too dangerous and hard to control. atleast get a LSD (2-way mechanical =) ) btw, power oversteer out of the corner isn't drift. flicking it left then right well before the corner and having it sideways the entire time is =) and preferably coming out parrallel to the direction of the road you are turning onto. my definition anyway =) and to attempt at doing that on stock suspenion with a single spinner AND a n/a motor is truley asking for trouble. skill can only go so far =) good suspenion just hides my lack of skill at this point =) bolt on a turbo to your sr20de mate! buy one of my boards, retune him and away you go!!!.. i'm in the process of doing a 2nd conversion with oneone atm =) good results
  10. very true =) not really drift at all, just a tad of oversteer out of a corner. but at that very day, Mr Rob managed to do two laps of a track completely sideways and delaminated the tyres midway second lap =)
  11. yes but standard suspenion is always old by now =) especialy for s13's.. you'd be riding on springs by now =) its always good to have some nice firm jap suspenion holding the car perfectly flat around corners. swaybars, strut braces =) all help
  12. Oh ye, and i'll say it again. Drifting on standard suspension will cause death. DO NOT DO IT! you may think your car is king, but it aint!.. get some coilovers or some decent shocks. rear/front swaybars/strut braces! also automatics are dangerous to 'drift' in =P dont do it. get a manual.
  13. here are a few tips from the young nimble grass hoper 1> Drifting on standard suspension cause death. 2> dont every hesitate, dont come off the accel too fast if you think you're getting in a bad situation, flicking back the other way is usualy worse and ends up UBER bad 3> NEVER! EVER ! EVER! look at an object trying to avoid it!.. ANYONE will tell you this. anything you look at and concentrate on not hitting you WILL HIT!. if there is ONE pole in the middle of a feild at a race track, people will hit it =P dont look at the objects you're trying to avoid. look at where you want to go and make it so! 4> having ****ing orsome suspension can make even the shittest driver good =) 5>Have you car setup correctly for every weahter type.. if its wet, dont run 5º camber on front wheels! you'll understeer into poles, kurbs and other items.. also you'll loose ALL the respsone thru the steering wheel!.. adjustable camber tops are excellent at this, run 4-5º in dry =) and knock it back to 2-3 in wet.. this makes a big difference. For best drift effect, dial in AS MUCH CAMBER AS POSSIBLE AT REAR =) enjoy...
  14. nice one =) we have an industrial zone here too.. =) has a nice 90degree corner at the end of some uber over steer and to battle for a high speed cornering.. has plenty of criss cross roads =) ECT(estimated cop time) of about 20mins =) not to mention the joondalup, whelshpool, canning vale special stages =)
  15. you know of my sr boards? =) spread the word! if someone puts in an order for like 5+ boards.. i'll give that person a discount for bulk buys =)
  16. i hope to get away with $1K... 1x fender 1x headlight assembly 1x rear qrt panel 1x rear rale light 1x rear intrusion bar 1x paint job required on front/rear bumper and remolding 1x wheel allignment needed missed a rather large pole by a few meters... take it to a track hey, there you can only go into the grass..
  17. nope... i wouldn't want any other party involved either.. if they messured out the accident.. =) i could see, dangerous driving, speeding, maybe even wreckless... I'd loose my licence.. was just leaning the car out aswell, got 228hp @ <10:1 AFR the wideband o2 sensor doesn't read below 10:1... so we dont know exactly.. but in a nutshell, the car has more power than mine and more than i could handle.. makes me think twice about 300rwhp..
  18. nope.. i just go into a situation i couldn't control. wasn't expecting the rear end to come out at some very large speed... somewhere in the vasinity of the mid-top of 3rd..
  19. how bad do i feel =( just binned a mates car accidently.. big arse slide and spin into some poles... DONT DORIFT ON THE STREETS!!! TAKE IT TO THE TRACK! they have RUNOFFS and KITTY LITTER!
  20. ye, difference between good and bad drivers are, good drivers dont get into oversteer they can't control =) on that note.. i fully bent a rim this morning on the way to uni.. either that or power slide into an oncoming car.... damnit!
  21. naaa. if the back end ever steps out.. DONT EASE OFF UNTIL OUT OF THE CORNER AND GOING WHERE YOU WANT TO GO... the biggest killer is people freaking out, ****ting themselfs and taking their foot off the accel.. keep those wheels spinning! if one grips and you have sub drift suspension, it'll fishtail into a pole or something.. Steer out of everything! one method is *Induce oversteer yank the steering one way VERY HARD =) this will induce oversteer, then steer out and power on... *hand brake* well before the corner, steer out, steer in, handbrake till desired angle, lots of revs and back on the power.. steer thru the corner.. Major coordination required here =) *another way is to left foot brake come in at speed, turn in sharply, power on and left foot brake to slow the front of the car.. steer out and enjoy =) have fun bending parts =):burnout: :burnout:
